Following the mention of the Proud Boys at the first Presidential election debate on Tuesday, Affirmative Right's chief editor Colin Liddell riffs on the group's name as well as the term "pride" as used by the gay or LGBT movement. Liddell suggests that "gay pride," in addition to its exoteric "normie" meaning of affirming group worth, also has a secret esoteric meaning that is hidden from the general public.
