TRUMP ROASTING HILLARY—THE ELITE AT PLAY

Just one night after the third presidential debate, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton attended the Alfred E. Smith charity dinner, a major event on the social calendar for rich Catholics and other members of New York's elite. Trump gave a speech 'roasting' his presidential rival, which started light-heartedly but became a little darker as it proceeded, even drawing a few boos from Hillary supporters. Despite this, there was no mistaking the convivial "elite intersectionality" of these members of the ruling class, who seem to have few problems rubbing shoulders and laughing at each other's jokes, regardless of their angry denouncements of each other elsewhere.

THE DHIMMITUDE OF CHRISTIAN MORALITY IN THE LEFTIST STATE

Raw Story is a somewhat popular click bait site for smug liberal millennials who seek constant reinforcement for their juvenile, therapeutic “political” ideology. It is a fellow traveler of such click bait dumpsters as Buzzfeed, Upworthy, and Salon. It exists purely to attack the phantom enemies of the leftist establishment, specifically Republicans and conservative Christians. A daily sampling of the leading headlines on Raw Story reveal their obsession with casting conservatives and Christians (one and the same in their minds) as vicious bigots out to persecute homosexuals and Muslims and impose some sort of theocracy on America (this absurd conspiracy theory is a staple of the establishment left).

Recently Raw Story published a story about an obscure evangelical Christian preacher, Rick Wiles, who expressed sentiments that the Ebola virus might by God’s way of ridding America of homosexuals and atheists. The notion is of course absurd, but no serious person has likely heard of the preacher, much less given any sort of regard to his silly fantasies.

Self-christened advocates of cultural harmony, equality, justice, and ideological soundness have long insisted that in order to prove oneself truly tolerant one must "NEVER tolerate INtolerance."

Of course, this notion of redefining a concept as its very opposite is purposely obfuscatory. What it means, laid bare, is, "WE, your betters, decide which positions are tolerable, and which are beyond the pale. If you offend our sensibilities, we will come down on you hard. So watch your step, little man, because WE call the shots, not you."
