“What is the alt-right?” people are asking, including the alt-right themselves. Other say it’s a stupid question, or there is no qualification, or the only litmus test is being pro-white. I have another idea.

“No enemies to the left, no friends to the right” is a basic rule of leftism. And it’s a basic rule of Buckley conservatism, or neoconservatism, or cuck conservatism. All these movements police to the right.

I avoid the sports pages because they are the officially approved method of administering the “opiate of the masses,” along with the rest of the media products that have no actual use in a healthy life. Occasionally however the sports pages produce something of interest because, much like the audience for GamerGate, the sports audience is aggressive and realistic. Too much intervention by cultural Marxism or PC and they head for the hills.

THE FANATICISM OF LIBERALS

I never wanted to be a conservative growing up. Conservatives always lose. They're the ones stumbling around, unable to organize themselves, while liberals sweep in with a single-mindedness that overwhelms the opposition.

As life went on, I came to distrust single-mindedness. It's a condition not unlike being an insect. One is made inherently fanatical by single-mindedness, and oblivious to nuance, depth and aesthetics. There is simply the goal. The body, soul, life itself, nature, etc. all become means to an end.
