The feminist ‘social justice’ campaign first launched on Twitter against “manspreading” has made the male practice of sitting a little too comfortably in a public space into a criminal offense. The arrests that have resulted from this criminalization of public posture represent a fundamental attack upon our personal freedoms and on our own ability to govern ourselves in social situations without resorting to overarching laws and policing. John Stuart Mill’s Harm Principle has taken a modern, politically correct turn for the worse.

This also represents an attack on males, but even more so on White males, who have literally had their living spaces invaded and have been forced to squeeze aside for the ‘leg room’ of hordes of non-Whites.

AUTHOR 2 AUTHOR WITH TITO PERDUE

On Saturday, March 7, it was my honor to attend a banquet in Atlanta, Georgia, honoring the great Southern author Tito Perdue.

At the event, organized and hosted by Counter-Currents editor Greg Johnson, Mr. Perdue delivered a memorable speech, in which he laid out a delightfully whimsical, savagely fantastical vision of the future, which closely resembled the bizarre and wondrous dystopias he concocted in his recent novels The Node and Reuben (the latter of which I had the privilege of helping to edit for Radix). To help commemorate the man who whose literary greatness will one day surely be acknowledged – and whose novels will be required reading in freshman-level English classes once this present darkness is dispelled and civilization finally gets re-established – I am re-running this conversation I had with Tito in early 2013, in which I queried him concerning his then just-published The Node, and during which I had the privilege of him querying me about my much-lesser work Under the Nihil.

CIVIL RIGHTS FATIGUE

As we enter the age of civil rights fatigue those who oppose diversity will face increasing opposition from the dying system. A vastly entrenched nepotistic bureaucracy, industry and media exists because of the political jobs program created by anti-discrimination and anti-poverty legislation. They will defend their meal ticket with increasing acrimony. They can be defeated by attacking their motivations and clarifying our position.
