Jobbik, the Hungarian political party that made it's name by being strongly anti-Jewish and anti-Gypsy, is now looking increasingly like a Leftist party, as news leaked that actual Leftists are thinking of allying with the party in order to defeat Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Right-wing Fidesz party at next year's general election.

While Western Europe becomes increasingly cucked and ashamed of its own history, Eastern Europe is increasingly asserting itself, and taking pride in its historical figures—even the "fashy" ones. And few figures from Hungarian history are as fashy as Admiral Horthy, the country's dictatorial strongman, who ruled the country for 24 years (1920-44) and also allied himself with Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. 

Usually somebody with that kind of political pedigree would be regarded as a historical pariah in most European countries, but not Hungary. Under Prime Minister Viktor Orban the landlocked country is uncucked.

What exactly is Alt-Rightism? The simplest answer is "common sense and reality recognition ahead of other people." In times of slow change the time gap may be rather wide, but, in more chaotic and fast-changing times, that gap rapidly narrows, as demonstrated by the sharp learning curve that people like Viktor Orban are on. 

A couple of years ago, he was arresting Richard Spencer in Budapest and last year he was allowing hordes of migrants to pass through his country on their way North, an act for which he should be eternally blamed. But, with Hungary in the front-line of the migrant crisis and with the EU constantly trying to stab him in the back, he has developed an almost Alt-Right consciousness about the situation in Europe, as revealed by this speech given on the 15th of March to mark the 168th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848.

In my recent piece arguing that European ethnonationalists ought to think seriously about secession, especially in the face of Germany’s reckless immigration policy, I regret that I was not more explicit about one point: the idea of a Central European Union.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at least understands, and is willing to say so publicly, that Germany’s immigration policy is an existential threat to the European people. The governments of The Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland (where the governing center-Right party was recently defeated at the polls by a more Right-wing party) seem to agree. That is a start, but words must be followed by action, and for that to happen, ethnonationalists in those countries need to force the issue.

Despite the best efforts of Western elites to morally browbeat Hungary into accepting Syrian refugees, the obstinate Eastern European nation refuses to budge. Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban – with the enthusiastic support of his people – has steadfastly refused to bow down to Germany’s “moral imperialism” and accept Angela Merkel’s refugee quotas. Insisting that Hungary lacks the resources and cultural infrastructure to accommodate thousands of outsiders, Orban’s spokesman then cited the failure of Western multiculturalism as reason to seal Hungary’s borders.

IMMIGRATION, ALTRUISM, AND NATIONAL SUICIDE

The liberal establishment in the West seems intent on national suicide. Just as they deem George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four to be a blueprint on how to run a country rather than a brutal warning about life under the socialist jackboot, so they deem Jean Raspail's novel The Camp of the Saints to be a blueprint on importing third world people in their millions and bringing Western civilisation to a close.

The majority of people in the West suffer from the illusion of permanency – by which I mean they think tomorrow will be no different to today and that next year will be no different to this year. They are correct that little will change in such a short time span, but the West has put into motion a series of events that will totally transform our society well before 2050, let alone by the end of this century. A child born today, in a peaceful and cohesive part of the West, will be a mere thirty-five years of age by 2050 but he or she will live through the biggest racial / cultural upheaval ever witnessed in the history of mankind. By the time they reach middle age the West will have seen racial / religious civil war and terrible bloodshed. Who will emerge the winner is an unknown, but the odds are firmly stacked against the Europeans – unless there is a fundamental sea change in our altruistic attitudes.
