I am not a theologian by training, and only an amateur one by temperament. But it seems self-evident, even to a rank layman like me, that in our time the primary rhetorical strategy used by enemies of decency, civilization, and faith is to engage in a general and unabating mockery of any and all forms of chastity.

HOW CAN HOLLYWOOD DEFEND ITSELF?

Hollywood has been roiled and rocked, in these post-Gunn firing days, by a flurry of fresh revelations implicating other prominent entertainment industry figures in unsavory, pedophila-related doings. But how will the the industry likely respond to the most explosive of these allegations? Most likely by silence, argues Andy Nowicki, which in fact does much to implicate them as guilty or at least complicit in the filth, corruption, and depravity of so many of its representatives.

THE MUSEUM OF PIZZA(GATE)

The "Museum of Pizza" bills itself as "an immersive art experience celebrating pizza." It is apparently set to open for a two-week span of time in New York City in late October.

It is unclear what the #MOPI museum will feature, but the ad campaign it has adopted is overtly sexual and thoroughly (and, one might observe, quite proudly) degenerate in nearly every way imaginable.

Within Catholicism, institutional celibacy has retained a place of high regard.

Monks and nuns take oaths to enter into Holy Matrimony, the former choosing to marry the Church, the latter opting to become “brides of Christ”; in each case, each is modeling his or her bond after the example set by the Holy Family, in which devotion is completely untethered from carnality.

#PIZZAGATE & DEGENERATE ART

The recent #pizzagate scandal, a true spiderweb of iniquity, is a complex criss-crossing of overlapping degeneracies. This web is dappled with hanging dewdrops of defamation, intrigue, and a liberal decadence of the extreme variety. Indeed the case has the dark enmity of an ‘evil’ so objective it is fairly safe to use that word without hubris or doubt.

Art, culture, conformity, and "progressiveness" all factor into this rendezvous of depravity. Actual crimes have yet to be proven, despite what many suspect, thought here is a definitely worrisome congress of evidence. However, there are enough known facts to laud this as a fine example of our worrisome times: our blind, nonchalant stroll into incidental villainy and ruination.
