A LOT OF SOUND AND MORAL SIGNALLING, SIGNIFYING NOTHING

Prick up your ears!

"And all our yesterdays have lighted fools" ⁓ MacBeth
When things like the Manchester bomb attack happen, there is an immediate outpouring of articles, reports, broadcasts, and memes. Some of them are informative, many of them are repetitive and redundant, others just irritating and infuriating. It is also noticeable that many of them are attempting to tell you what to think and feel in a case where Common Sense and natural emotion would be your best guide.

One thing that struck me, listening to the BBC Radio 5's late night coverage of the aftermath of the bombing, was how similar the tone was to Radio Moscow broadcasts in the 1980s, which I remember from my childhood. Both had the same cheery emptiness of people following a script, or more accurately rigid guidelines that had been drummed into them again and again and again.

PLANET OF THE RAPES: MORAL SAFARIS IN AFRICA

From aid to AIDs?

This is a picture of a Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) aid worker, taken at the organization's hospital in Juba, South Sudan. She looks like the typical White, Western, liberal cuck, who postpones having her own kids to instead look after those of an entirely alien people, who are outbreeding us, just so she can morally signal off it and feel somehow important.

The good news, at least for the individual here, is that this photo was taken over two years ago, so there is a fairly good chance that she is no longer in South Sudan right now, from where reports have just emerged of mass gang rapes committed by South Sudanese solders, including rapes of foreign female aid workers. The attacks happened last month, so you may be wondering why the delay in reporting this atrocity? But, of course, we all know the answer to that—negative stereotypes must be stopped at all costs. But back to what actually happened...

FICTION: SCHNITZEL FOR HERR SCHMITT

An everyday tale of moral signalling by German Volk

It was another beautiful Spring day in Merkel’s Germany. The new rainbow flag fluttered proudly in the southerly breeze, high above the little town of Fritzmal.

“Perhaps that same breeze is right now carrying here to us yet more migrants from the Southern Lands,” thought Heinrich Schmitt in syntaxically challenged German, as he cycled leisurely home along the “Eco Lane” from his job at the automobile factory.

Back in 2017, Merkel had been installed as Chancellor-for-Life after democracy itself had been declared “racist.” This followed the moderate success in local elections of the soft civic nationalist party Alternative für Deutschland. Once granted supreme power, her first act had been to change the flag from the accursed black, red, and gold that she loathed to the new rainbow flag. Next week it was to be changed yet again, with the addition of a dildo bisecting an Islamic crescent moon over the coloured bands.

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF GUN CONTROL (AND OTHER POLITICAL AFFECTATIONS)

In America, the discussion of political issues is an endless and perpetually inconclusive cycle: Party mouthpieces formulate stock arguments, and the media disseminates them to the rank and file, who then absorb and regurgitate them. They are then repeated ad nauseam whenever a well-publicized event returns the question to the limelight. Solutions are never discovered. This has been standard procedure for at least the last three generations, which, incapable of seeing outside the narrow parameters of bipartisan debate, accept it as the norm. But why?

Politics is not an academic discipline and does not involve the abstractions of that milieu; its matters and its terms are direct and concrete. Its subjects are familiar on a functional level to the majority of the population. If objective truth does exist then the questions being asked in the political milieu should end in objective answers. If Americans can calculate solutions to algebraic equations, they should certainly be able to do the same for poverty, crime, energy, and healthcare.

This has not happened, from which I infer two things: (1) that Americans are truly ignorant of what they speak about politically; and (2) their reason for engaging in political debate is self and partisan promotion, not the actual search for solutions.

TRUDEAU THE SECOND

A Liberal in action: notice how it voraciously sucks up all the signalling power from this small, frightened Sub-Saharan child.

by Rémi Tremblay

It took ten years for Canadians to have enough of Stephen Harper. His successor managed to do that in only a month. Justin Trudeau, son of the father of modern Canada, has been in power for less than two months and already he has angered the majority of Canadians. There will be no honeymoon for Vogue’s new star.

Unlike his father, who was a left wing thinker associated with Cité Libre, Justin is thought to be a shallow man, more interested in being photographed and gaining popularity than furthering an agenda. Most of his opponents, although they may deny it, thought that once ensconced in his luxurious mansion of Sussex Drive, he would not do much harm, and would be more inclined to live a socialite life rather than take actual decisions. If only they had been right!

MERKEL, CAMERON, AND THE EUROPEAN COMPASSION MARKET

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king, and, right now, with the migrant hordes battering at the unhinged doors of Europe – while being fed and watered for their trouble – it is quite easy to stand head and shoulders above the low level of Europe’s leaders. Especially the childless Angela Merkel, whose brain seems to have been strangled in her skull by a late, misplaced, post-menopausal mothering instinct, which has imprinted on the feral, squealing hordes of Third World welfare shoppers, pushing towards Germany.

In the crumbling of Europe’s puny defences, there have been some bright spots, such as the Czech refusal to take non-Christians, along with similar noises from the Poles and other Slavs. Viktor Obran in Hungary has also put up some token resistance, but obviously not enough. The Hungarian police have never looked more pathetic than they have in the face of the migrants, egged on by the bleeding-heart international media. The invaders have ignored them and gone round them, only stopping to pick up free bottles of mineral water and snacks to sustain them in their campaign of continued disobedience. But, then again, it is not Hungary and the Slavic states that the migrants are interested in. It is affluent North European countries, like Germany, Holland, the UK, and those in Scandinavia.
