OVERSELLING THE PATRIARCHY?

The origin of Patriarchy is the simple fact that men are stronger and more skilled at combat than women. In a strong and civilized state, physical strength, while still nice, is far less essential to survival. So, as civilization has advanced, and the rationale for Patriarchy has receded, ad hoc virtues were thought up to justify the status quo.

A portion of the Alt Right continues to believe in these ad hoc virtues. And many of these ad hoc virtues are true, just not true enough to justify Patriarchy. Let us look at few examples:

Women are so much less rational than men that, for the good of society, they should be denied all political and economic power.

Don’t be such a drama queen! I agree that, on average, men have slightly more logical minds than women. Researchers are divided on the existence of gender differences in intelligence, but even those who support the notion that men are smarter find that the gap is no more than 5 IQ points.

BETRAYING THE IN-GROUP: THE PROBLEMATIC NATURE OF FEMALE SEXUALITY

A civilization that embraces feminist values will simply cease to exist. In this excellent video from Black Pigeon, the destructive nature of unbridled female sexuality is laid clear, with women displaying limited loyalty to their in-group, contempt for less-than-alpha males, and an attraction for aggressive incomers. It is therefore no accident that Sweden, the most feminist country on earth, is also the rape capital of the World.

GAY MARRIAGE IS GAY OPPRESSION

I want to take you back. Back to a time of peace and love. Beautiful girls danced around wearing nothing but crowns made of flowers. Men had given up war and sat around playing music. Everyone shared their pot in order to come to greater understanding. And most importantly love was free and casually handed out in the name of enjoying sex without the oppressive institute of marriage.

Yes marriage. That evil arrangement of the patriarchy which had long held women in the tyrannical clutches of their male overlords. Feminist, hippies, reformers; the whole spectrum of Leftism had come together and pushed aside that long-lived prison for the fairer sex in the name of Progress.

But the march of Progress is never ending. With women liberated, it is now time to liberate gays. To do so we must agitate for them to enter the evil, oppressive, patriarchal institution of marri…

I am no expert on men’s issues, nor can I realistically claim to major in manliness, but still I venture to declare that the success of “Rude,” a song now gaining extensive airplay, unintentionally underscores a prominent crisis in modern-day masculinity.
