NAMELESS PODCAST: HOLLYWOOD IS MUCH WORSE THAN WEINSTEIN


In his latest “Nameless” Podcast, Andy Nowicki  considers the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment case in a broader context. Sleazy and corrupt as Weinstein clearly is, there is ample evidence of entertainment industry bigwigs — as well as the power elite in general — doing much worse things with little, if any, repercussions.

In addition to its long-running moral and spiritual vacuum, the UK is developing into something of a political vacuum, one that could possibly open up opportunities for new parties in British politics.

Not only is the governing Conservative Party reneging on BREXIT―after denying its members a say in the election of the PM―and thus weakening its popular legitimacy, but now the Labour Party is hitting even lower depths than the unelectable basement it has backed itself into with the election of the unelectable Jeremy Corbyn as leader.

In fact the two phenomenon are connected. The more unelectable Labour becomes, the more freedom the Conservative Party feels it has to do what it likes, to the detriment of the country.

The unfolding sex scandal of Dennis Hastert, a former wrestling coach, ex-Speaker of the US House of Representatives, and–until recently–prominent lobbyist, serves as a point of departure for a wide-ranging discussion between Andy Nowicki and Colin Liddell on the the eternal synergy between politics and perversion. Other sex scandals touched on include Jeffrey Epstein, Cyril Smith, Lord Janner, and Clarence Thomas.
