WHERE IS OUR STANDARD?

I don't mean standard as in "moral standards", of course (everyone knows there's no point in looking for those nowadays). I mean standard in the military sense - the sort of standard that in Roman times took the form of the legionary eagle, carried into battle by each legion and defended to the death as a symbol of that legion's honour. We Westerners don't have one, and we do need one. Let me explain.

Sorry about the title of this piece, but that’s what happens when you follow the insane thought processes of Liberals, the Liberal in question being Hillary Clinton, who is enjoying her last few months in the spotlight by telling American people who they are not.

Telling American people who they are not has become increasingly popular in recent years, partly because defining them positively may be divisive, unless one adheres to the blandest and most abstract definitions, e.g. people who believe in "freedom," human rights, and the "American dream." This is about as meaningful as saying "people who like the wind in their hair, the sun on their backs, and a whiter than white smile."

"DISPROPORTIONATE" IS A CODE WORD FOR EGALITARIANISM

Whether we’re talking about Nobel Prizes, the banks, Hollywood or any other well-paid profession, you’re guaranteed to read or hear the term ‘disproportionately represented’ thrown about generously online. I’m not for a moment suggesting that Jews don’t do well – they do – but I am suggesting that the term ‘disproportionate’ is out of place and redundant. It’s not entirely meaningless, but it simply isn’t relevant if we’re talking about the qualities of an ethnic group.

Look, I get it: Islam and Western values do not mix. I'm also of the opinion that Muslims – along with other non-Western peoples – should mostly reside in their countries of origin. Now, with that out of the way, can people please put an end to this fatuous fixation with the evils of Sharia? Apparently they can't, if this embarrassing story from Virginia – where schools were shut down following an Arabic calligraphy lesson – is any indication. If only these hysterical parents could devote half as much energy to resisting multiculturalism, feminism, and other manifestations of modern liberalism.

But of course, they can't, and that's where Muslim bashing comes in. I have argued before that anti-Muslim sentiment is little more than avoidance and misdirected anger. White Americans are clearly upset about their declining status, pessimistic about the US's future, and uneasy about changing demographics. Unfortunately, since white identity has been rendered so taboo, white conservatives can't take that extra step and unapologetically promote their group interests. Instead, they're stuck attacking safe targets like Muslims, who represent a tiny – and ultimately powerless – fraction of the unwelcome change that's bringing about their displacement.

MAXWELL'S IMMIGRATION DEMON

Do you know about Maxwell's Demon? It's described this way in Wikipedia:

In the philosophy of thermal and statistical physics, Maxwell's demon is a thought experiment created by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell in which he suggested how the Second Law of Thermodynamics could hypothetically be violated. In the thought experiment, a demon controls a small door between two chambers of gas. As individual gas molecules approach the door, the demon quickly opens and shuts the door so that slow molecules pass into one chamber and fast molecules pass into the other chamber. Because faster molecules are hotter, the demon's behavior causes one chamber to warm up as the other cools, thus decreasing entropy and violating the Second Law of Thermodynamics. [link]

And that is of course a fantasy concocted to show how entropy works. But the immigration version of Maxwell's Demon is also a fantasy, but it's accepted as a fact across the political spectrum, from the most (heh!) 'ethical' libertarian to the ditziest liberal to the most narcissistic neocon. Maxwell's Immigration Demon is, however, as much a fantasy as its thermodynamic original.

#YOU AIN'T NO REALIST, BRUV

The latest Muslim atrocities in the West (Paris, San Bernadino, and London) have been met with the frantic recitation of the liberal internationalist’s favourite mantra to explain away such terrorism, namely, it is not committed by Muslims.

The attack in the Leytonstone tube station in outer London set the ball rolling in Britain when the lone black attacker shouted “This is for Syria” prompting the response “You ain’t no Muslim bruv” from an onlooker, a black Londoner judged by his accent and the fact that he addressed the attacker as “bruv,” a term only common amongst blacks in Britain. The context also suggests that the man is a Muslim.

NEW REASON FOR FEMINISTS TO DENOUNCE MANSPREADING

With the latest news reports out of the UK, Feminists across the West have yet another reason to denounce the evils of "manspreading," the practice whereby men sit on public transport with their legs somewhat apart. This is because it has been revealed, yet again, that hundreds of English girls have been groomed, drugged, raped, branded, tortured, and abused by Muslim gangs in yet another English town, this time Oxford:

"Such was the nature of the sexual exploitation and abuse suffered by the girls, who all had backgrounds in care, that it was likened to torture. The abuse took place in Oxford, in a guest house or in parks and churchyards, and the girls were plied with drugs and subjected to gang rape and sexual atrocities for more than eight years between 2004 and 2012."

Throughout my years in elementary school I felt that certain teachers harboured unwarranted prejudice against me. I’d complain to my parents and my Dad’s response was fairly consistent: “What have you been up to?” My Mother’s response was somewhat more sympathetic: “Why don’t they like you? You’re so likable!” Both of their responses subtly implied that the way people treat you is a function of your own behaviour toward them. I have mentioned numerous times that the West needs to embrace this virtue of reciprocity. The virtue of tolerance that was championed by the Old Left of John Stuart Mill has been degraded by the modern left. In his essay On Liberty Mill championed a diversity of opinions (NOT a diversity of races) while placing one sole limit on free speech: using it to incite a mob.

"Community" is a one of those magical words. Once you apply it to a group – any group – it instantly conjures up an image of concerned individuals gathered together, earnestly discussing important stuff and making judicious, organic decisions that "interface" with local reality. They might even be "addressing issues," another mystic and magical phrase with which it is often conjoined.

Stick "community" on to the end of any group designation and watch it turn suddenly respectable:

The self-harming community
The human-sacrifice and Devil-worshipping community
The cannibal community
The incest community
The international nuclear terrorism community...etc.

THE LIBERAL LEFT INCITES RELIGIOUS HATRED

I have often said that living in a Western world controlled by the liberal Left is akin to living in a lunatic asylum, and just two stories over the last couple of days would seem to reinforce this belief. Both instances are the usual examples of white-only guilt, coupled with a refusal to acknowledge genuinely racist behaviour based simply on the grounds that the perpetrators are immune to criticism by dint of their non-white skin or their non-Christian faith.

The first story concerns the brutal murder of Saudi Arabian student Nahid Almanea in Colchester, Essex. The Daily Telegraph shrieked the headline "Essex PhD student 'murdered for being Muslim', police fear" with further sensationalist journalism such as "religiously motivated" and "targeted because she was a Muslim" according to the police.

EXTREMISM AND THE DISPLACEMENT OF THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM

Not as extreme as he looks

A near Orwellian police state with bans on weapons, bans on words and thoughts, and an incessant flow of PC propaganda is no defence against the insanities created by “multicultural Britain.” We saw this yet again in London, where we were recently ‘treated’ to an iPhone clip of a Sub-Saharan Muslim lecturing us, his hands freshly crimsoned with the blood of an off-duty British soldier that he and an associate had just slaughtered on the streets of Woolwich in South East London.

The basic problem here is not the nature of Sub-Saharan Africans or the nature of Islam. These have been well-known for a long time and are what they are for a variety of reasons that it is superfluous to go into here. No, the real problem is one of politics and ideology, and, in short, of the systemic dislocation of the political spectrum.

In the wake of such horror, we can expect to hear the usual cries for “tolerance” and the throb-in-the-throat pleas not to let the “extremists” win  by becoming "hateful" ourselves. But the trouble is the real extremists won long ago. What other word can you use for political parties like the Conservative and Labour Parties that have been creating cultural chaos and enacting genocide and race replacement on a massive scale?

The real extremists are those holding the reins of government, as they have been doing for the last 60 years. But they would have you believe that they are the “moderates,” the reasonable ones, and that the extremists are the "unrepresentative" Muslims who committed the Woolwich atrocity and the "Far Right" parties and organizations that have opposed mass immigration and the kind of multiracialism that has Sub-Saharan Muslims living cheek-by-slashed-jowl with troops serving the interests of America and Israel.

Lets be very clear here: the Muslims who committed this atrocity are not extremists. They are following one of the broadest roads in a major world religion, a religion that grew up among a band of desert cutthroats and expanded by conquest, violence, intimidation, slavery, and mass rape; a religion that tolerates nothing but itself and drives its more logical adherents to acts of violence.

A so-called "moderate" Muslim is nothing more than a bad Muslim, someone who probably drinks alcohol and eats pork as well. A good Muslim is one who acts within the genocidal dictates of the religion’s founder. Needless to say, the rest of us should avoid good Muslims like the plague and be wary of bad Muslims in case they start taking their religion seriously.

The so-called “racists” and “fascists” who oppose multiracial Britain and wish not only to stop mass immigration but also to start the necessary process of "exigration" – the removal of the unassimilatable immigrant population – are not the extremists either. These people are common sense moderates, who, despite the lies of their higher and betters and the endless extremist propaganda of the “multicultural” state, realized at some gut level that the ruling elites were creating a madhouse.

The extremists are David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, John Major, Margaret Thatcher, Jim Callaghan, Edward Heath, Harold Wilson, Alec Douglas-Home, Harold Macmillan, and Anthony Eden, the prime ministers who facilitated the process by which Britain has been transformed into the Bedlam it is today.

The extremists are the media, the BBC and the newspapers of the oligarchs, who have bandied about the word "racist" in an attempt to suppress any opposition to the Third World colonization of Britain, in effect creating a society whose every second thought is now race.

The extremists are the academics, who have used their intelligence to blind themselves for the pleasures of sneering at lowly common sense and basking in the glow of a false moral smugness, while furthering their lie-driven careers.

But the extremists are also the majority of the British people who have voted for these politicians, listened to these journalists, and respected these academics, all the while feeling that something was deeply wrong. To be out of touch with your true feelings and interests is an act of extremism.

Extremism viewed neutrally

Things like the increasing imposition of multicultural totalitarianism and the Woolwich atrocity that it pathetically failed to stop are not accidents. They are the symptoms of a deep disease of the political system. But it is not extremism per se that is the problem. Extremism exists naturally at the extreme ends of any system. Think of it like a bell curve. The left and right sides of the curve – the ‘extremes’ – taper to nothing, while the centre bulges to the highest point and contains most of the mass.

The fact that extremes exist in any system is not a problem in itself, and, in the grand scheme of things, may even be necessary. The problem we have in the West, however, is that “the bulge” – with all its conformism – has been dislocated so that now the weight of opinion and power has been dislocated to the extreme Left for the last 60 years.

What is 'centric' or moderate about the ideas on which modern Britain is based? Nothing! The viewpoint that race is a construct, that blood exerts no pull on the human heart, that loyalty to your own kind is evil, and that we are all blank slates is self-evidently an extremist Leftist one, but it is one that has become displaced towards the centre of our society, and therefore enshrined with the certainty that the centre always accrues to itself, rather than the tentative quality that all extreme ideas should be treated with.

"Extreme" and "extremist" are instead used as pejoratives and means for limiting correction back to the center. But what is remotely "extremist" about the wish to prevent your country being colonized and your race sunk in a flood of Third World immigration, degradation, and animalistic violence? This is self evidently a centric notion, but in today’s insane world this is given the name "far-right," "fascist," or "racist," other words signifying "extremism," which has become debased into a mere synonym of "evil."

The Great Displacement

Sensible common sense, the traditional outlook of the vast majority, is now regarded as right-wing extremism. But what has caused this dislocation of the political spectrum? The causes are many, but essentially it is the switch from a society characterized by structure, ties, and values to one based on fluidity, nexus, and price. This shift requires a change in the basic concept of humanity from a static notion based on essence and being to a dynamic notion based on function and interaction: algebra instead of numbers, synapses instead of neurons (and therefore dementia).

This results in the cult of “androidism,” where anything man-shaped is considered equivalent and connected to every other thing that is man-like, with the ability to acquire money the only distinguisher.

This is how multinationals, super states, and global elites see the world, and it creates the fluidity and interchangeability required by late-period global capitalism to facilitate more economic interaction, be it Keynsian or Austrian, public sector or private. To revert to a world of structure, ties, and values would cause an economic meltdown (actually much to be desired), so we are forced to live outside our mental comfort zone and fall down before the Golden Calf of multiculturalism.

The extremists who control the West see androidism as a means to facilitate short-term economic interests – their own and also that of the wider society (hence the widespread support for this stupidity) – but they also see it as a solution to the problems that it creates. Not only does androidism broaden markets, enlarge the labour pool, and create marketable stresses and problems, but it also promises the solution to the chaos it unleashes in the vast reprogramming of the human race.

Be the subjects Sub-Saharans with markedly lower IQs or Muslims with a deeply incompatible culture, the androidist extremists who control the West believe that they can use "education" (the most inefficient sector of the economy) and "culture" (the most despised aspect of modernity) to maintain the status quo in their vast game of demographic musical chairs. Sub-Saharans can be educated to replace hard-working and therefore low-breeding Europeans, and Muslims can be culturally reprogrammed by the potency and insidiousness of Western non-culture.

In this view, the great multiracial cities of West are educational laboratories doing what has never been done before, or vast deculturing concentration camps, exterminating the awkward culture of the incomers in a flood of porn, feminism, consumerism, individualism, and sheer godlessness.

Credit where it’s due: This is a titanic theory and astounding in its scope – if it works. But the great flaw with extreme ideas is that they are extreme for a reason, and this reason is their more tenuous connection with reality. This is how you know they are extreme. This is the case with androidism. Just because someone has two arms and two legs, and walks upright, doesn’t mean that he is equivalent to all the other two-armed and two-legged creatures walking upright. The atrocity in Woolwich is what happens when a society is built on such flawed foundations.

IMMIGRATION, BORDER CONTROL AND ANARCHO-TYRANNY

Tony Hilton sent me an inter­est­ing arti­cle yesterday, taken from the last issue of The Econ­o­mist. Enti­tled “Own goal,” this piece is about America’s immi­gra­tion rules, which are “the oppo­site of what it needs,” accord­ing to the London-based weekly.

I was expect­ing a long com­plaint about the plight of poor free-market-asserting, family-values-defending Mex­i­can Ran­dian entre­pre­neurs, in the same man­ner as Robert Heineman’s appalling speech dur­ing the last H.L. Mencken Club Con­fer­ence. The pic­ture illus­trat­ing the arti­cle shows a His­panic woman hold­ing a baby who wears a “Born in the USA” t-shirt and waves a stars-and-stripes flag. Under the pic­ture, the cap­tion reads: “Get­ting ready to pay for Medicare, Med­ic­aid and the rest,” which is as coun­ter­fac­tual as you can get. I had thus good rea­sons to be wary of this article.

MULTICULTURAL DEFENDERS OF MONOCULTURAL ISLAM

The West is made up of countries built around one basic and incredibly important political ethos – they are all Liberal Democracies. Unfortunately, these countries also share a more recent political ideology which has come to be known as multiculturalism, a word invented in the latter half of the 20th century to enforce our toleration – indeed celebration – of all faiths, cultures and races.

Multiculturalism sits at the pinnacle of Political Correctness (another expression invented in the late 20th century) and is promoted in the post-Christian West with a religious fervour. Multiculturalism trumps all in the PC world. The working class, the homosexual, women in general but particularly so feminist women – all bow before a political and ideological supremacy invented in favour of a foreign race and a foreign religion.

RIGHT-WING 'LIBERALTARIAN' PRATFALL

It's good to see Gavin McInnes giving his usual sensitive take on the Islamic world, over at Taki's. Yes, he's right. Islam does produce plenty of newsworthy and easy-to-ridicule moments. For a writer of McInnes's sarkiness it must look like one hell of an inviting piñata, although the words "fish," "barrel," and "shooting" also spring to mind.
