It's obvious that failed Alt-Right leader Richard Spencer's parents didn't pay much attention to him as a child. Ever since, he's been on a one-man mission to compensate for that by attracting as much attention to himself as possible, either through his amateur dramatics or edgytarian "hot takes" on the issues of the day. Spencer generates a lot of heat but very little light. Steven Sailer, by contrast, is the exact opposite, a self-effacing, data-driven intellect, who makes real change, without attracting pointless drama. YouTuber Luke Ford compares the two.

HOW TO REPLACE AFRICAN-AMERICANS
These days, people are talking quite a bit about African-Americans and crime, violence and race warfare. While the connection is hard to ignore, we should make it clear that we are not scapegoating those who are the symptom and not the origin of the problem. That leads to further revelations which might put the entire situation in context.
As I have written before, minorities face an ugly dilemma: assimilate and lose culture or retain culture and be marginalized. No amount of welfare state programs can recover the pride and sense of well-being that is lost as a group realizes that it is not in control of its own fate, and exists merely as a tool of something larger. Even if the majority is mixed-race, that “new race” is hostile to the minority group, and by the nature of young people falling into attraction with those around them, will quickly destroy the original race and replace it with the new monoculture of non-race. This alone would induce a fury in one sufficient to explain any number of riots and crimes.
A CLOSER LOOK AT SAILER'S CITIZENISM
In my most recent VDare piece, in which I argued that the Alternative Right needs to move
beyond being a culture of critique, and devote more energy to formulating an appealing and
intellectually coherent ideal, in passing, I criticized Steve Sailer’s Citizenism as unfit for this
role.
I wrote that Sailer was “emblematic of this gap in the [thought of the] Dissident Right [between the quality of our criticisms of Egalitarian Universalism and the inadequacy of the alternatives to it that we have thus far offered].” So here, I’d like to very briefly outline my reasons in a bit more detail.
