TWO-YEAR SHITSTORM ON ITS WAY AS ELECTION SPLITS THE COUNTRY DOWN THE MIDDLE

by Trad News

The Midterms are in and the results are essentially big wins for Trump and big wins for the left-wing of the Democratic Party. Squeezed out are the lukewarm centrists and some cuckservatives.

Even CNN admits that Trump did very well:

HOW THE LEFT IS SELF-DESTRUCTING BY HAVING ONLY NEGATIVE IDEAS, NOT PLANS

by Brett Stevens

The Left began with a simple idea: overthrow the natural hierarchy of humans by ability and let the mob rule instead of having leaders.

This pleased a great number of people, but also guaranteed perpetual infighting as groups and individuals vie for power.

WE MUST RIP AWAY THE LEFT’S “NAZI!!!” SAFETY BLANKET

A good speaker ≠ a good leader.

by Colin Liddell

The most astounding meta political phenomenon of the modern age is the prominence of “Naziism” as a dominant cultural and political trope. In fact “Naziism” today is almost ubiquitous. Rather like it was once said that you were never more than 10 feet away from a rat in a modern city, so in today’s political discourse you’re never more than a few sentences away from the Nazi trope: Trump is “literally Hitler,” the new Chancellor of Austria is a “Baby Hitler” who must be killed, and according to Dinesh D’Souza the Democrats are the real Nazis etc., etc., ad infinitum…yawn!

WOW, THE LEFT DOES PUNCH LEFT AFTER ALL

Parts of the Alt-Right — or parts claiming to be Alt-Right — assert that there is one eternal truth in politics, namely that the Left never punch Left. They never “countersignal” their own more extreme elements, with the corollary idea that we, being opposed to everything they stand for, should do exactly the same.

This, we are assured, will enable us to make the same rapid metapolitical progress as the Left and march through all the institutions like little Gramscian moles. So nobody dare say anything bad about Andrew Anglin, OK?

UNDERSTANDING THE LEFT'S WEAPONIZATION OF CATEGORIES

Watch carefully...

by Colin Liddell

The greatest humiliations are to be outwitted by morons and shamed by scumbags, but that is exactly what keeps on happening to Conservatives whenever they run into the Left.

Based on what they espouse, the Left are clearly the lowest of the low. They freely believe in any number of ostensibly absurd and immoral ideas, but they nevertheless manage to run rings round their Conservative opponents, using a formula that should be relatively easy to understand and counter, but which Conservatives fail to do.

COLIN LIDDELL GUESTS ON MILLENNIAL WOES' "MILLENNIYULE HANGOUT"

The "Millenniyule Hangouts" are a series of one-on-one Google hangouts hosted by Alt-Right vlogger Millennial Woes over the festive period.

For the 23rd hangout in a 10-day period, Alternative Right's Chief Editor Colin Liddell joined Woes to discuss Manichean vs. Aristotlean morality, the power of the Left, the tragedy of the Jews, the nature of the Alt-Right, and the challenges created by Trump's Presidential election victory.

HOW JILL STEIN BECAME A SYMBOL FOR NEO-NAZIS

THE ALT-RIGHT AND THE VACUUM-PACKING OF LANGUAGE

Funny things are happening with the way language works in the modern age. One thing I've noticed is the incredible acceleration of the cliche cycle—a provisional term for the life cycle of a phrase from jaunty neologism to jaded cliche.

A perfect example is the phrase "How X became a symbol for Neo-Nazis." This phrase, with "cartoon frog" filling the "X," was rolled out only a few days ago by the Clinton campaign in an attempt to turn the vast Pepe meme penumbra surrounding Trump into something toxic.

ALT-RIGHT ART

Once it's seen, it can't be unseen.
by Andy Nowicki

Left-liberal attitudes and habits of mind may at one time have been radical, provocative, and gutsy, but today they are staid, stale, conventional, and boring. Any honest contemporary cultural Marxist will have to admit that, politically speaking, his side now holds all significant power. Those who openly decline to subscribe to the ideological establishment's point of view on such matters as race, gender, and sexuality have in effect committed social suicide; having put themselves utterly at the mercy of the powers-that-be, such unfortunates have left themselves open to attack by legions of official Zeitgeist-enforcers and their numerous toadying minions.

PARIS AND THE FAILURE OF THE CULTURAL DEATH CAMPS

This article was originally published at Western Spring in November 2013. It is relevant again in the light of recent events in Paris. An audio version is available here

Old story, new picture.

The internationalist Leftist elites that have ruled Europe since World War II have failed. They have failed not just by our high and exacting standards, but by their own low and sloppy ones. They have created the very world that they most feared, and generated a situation that even they are now coming to realize is unsustainable and impossible.

If they don’t realize now, then it won’t take too many more years to enlighten them. All that they hold dear – gay rights, women’s lib, abortion-on-demand, the moral free-for-all, welfarism, gender equality, and even racial equality – now hangs by a thread, all because their great game plan is coming unstuck.

They thought that the way to win total victory in the great cultural and ideological war with the old conservative order was to destroy it with multiculturalism, a perfect strategy because it was something that could only be fought against with racism, parochialism, and a rejection of the global economy – all things that had been stigmatized beforehand. The old order was caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place. The more they fought back the more the Left could screech the dreaded R-word and their other incantations and intimidate their naive and befuddled opponents. Fish being shot in a barrel would have put up stiffer resistance.

UNITE THE RIGHT

A head looking for a body and vice versa.

by Brett Stevens & Ashton Blackwell

A singularity is coming: the mainstream right and the underground right are converging, but they need to do it faster. These groups share a worldview of realism which no other parts of the political spectrum possess. Both realize that Western Civilization is hurtling towards a catastrophe at the hands of the dictatorship of public opinion, and that this same force destroyed the great civilizations of the past.

As Walt Kelley wrote long ago, “We have met the enemy and he is us”: public opinion denies common-sense realism because people prefer sugar-coated and flattering illusions. Gossip about the Speakership nomination, or Malia’s college party beer pong antics, dominates the headlines to hide the grim reality that we are literally fighting for our survival as a civilization.

THE DEATH OF THE WORLD ECONOMY (AND OF MARXISM)

Rule number one: never predict what you want to happen. Because it is simply not going to happen. You are not God and the world can be brutally callous about your special-snowflakeism. This was the mistake that Paul Mason made when he wrote PostCapitalism (published in 2015), which he then pimped with an overlong article in the Guardian, Britain's leading trade rag for sociologists and social workers.

TEXT TO AUDIO: ALTERNATIVE VERTICAL

Colin Liddell reads his 2013 article on the meaninglessness of political terminology founded on the outmoded linear Left/ Right political spectrum. The article proposes that much of the confusion surrounding political definitions could be cleared up by invoking instead a political spectrum founded on vertical and horizontal vectors. The article can be read here.

THE LIBERAL LEFT INCITES RELIGIOUS HATRED

I have often said that living in a Western world controlled by the liberal Left is akin to living in a lunatic asylum, and just two stories over the last couple of days would seem to reinforce this belief. Both instances are the usual examples of white-only guilt, coupled with a refusal to acknowledge genuinely racist behaviour based simply on the grounds that the perpetrators are immune to criticism by dint of their non-white skin or their non-Christian faith.

The first story concerns the brutal murder of Saudi Arabian student Nahid Almanea in Colchester, Essex. The Daily Telegraph shrieked the headline "Essex PhD student 'murdered for being Muslim', police fear" with further sensationalist journalism such as "religiously motivated" and "targeted because she was a Muslim" according to the police.

THE DEATH MORALITY OF THE LEFT

Leftists: self abnegating and selfish at the same time.

by Colin Liddell

One of the chief characteristics of modernity is a departure from traditional morality, but merely deviating from such morality does not mean the abnegation of that morality, which is founded on eternal truths. Rather it is a form of negative affirmation of that morality. Therefore we should not be surprised that such deviation creates a strong sense of moral inferiority among those who choose that path, and thus impels a desperate need to offset it and reset the moral balance.

This simple psychological equation can be used to explain much of what we see in Leftism and why the extreme Left tends to attract the viler kinds of human being.

AS SOCIAL TRUST WANES, WE WEAKEN

by Henry Dampier

The West is in a crisis surrounding a general collapse in social trust. Rather than focusing too much on the macro political situation, I would rather explore the consequences of this at the personal level.

Unlike when my grandfathers were working, or when my father worked, it is common for employees to distrust their bosses and their co-workers. There is no sense that the company exists for the long term benefits of its stake-holders. At a far lower level of technology and gross profitability, employees even at the lower level could expect to advance their careers within the same corporation for their entire lives. My grandfather was not an executive — he was a simple accountant at General Electric — but his retirement package ultimately made him a multimillionaire. He lived modestly for most of his life, did not work long hours, and raised two children.

DEMOCRACY OF THE DEAD

Traditionalists of the Alternative Right, or New Right, often find themselves bewildered when trying to explain how it is they consider themselves right-wing given what most people think when they think right-wing. There’s a feeling somewhere inside of us saying, “These are our people. With just a little nudge they might see the light.” But at the same time we embrace causes associated, for decades now, with the Left, such as: drug legalization, environmental concerns, anti-globalization, and crusades against factory farming that likely drive them away.
