What happens when one of the great cities of the World loses its mojo and starts to turn into a Third World hellhole?

London has passed another milestone on its descent into Third World barbarism. New crime figures show that the minority White city (if you count illegals) is now much more violent and dangerous than New York City, with much higher rates of rape, robbery, and violent assault.

AGAINST THE NATURALISTIC FALLACY


It is a good and necessary thing to take the red pill: to start seeing things as they really are, not as the delusional ruling ideology of a corrupted civilisation tells you they must be. But the red pill, in itself, is not a sufficient condition for true understanding.

Perhaps we can grasp this point by taking a second look at the iconic scene from The Matrix that inspired the ‘red pill’ metaphor. In this scene, Neo takes a red pill and wakes up from his simulated reality, to find himself in the real world: an ugly and dystopian future, ruled by intelligent machines, in which he has been serving all his life as one of countless human batteries in a huge electrical system called the Matrix. Weak from muscular atrophy, he is flushed out of the Matrix into an underground sewer, in which he flounders helplessly until a flying craft winches him out and takes him to safety. From this point, he is brought into the community of free humans, who teach him both the nature of the real world and how to act and fight within it. 

OF NAZI PUGS AND SOVIET PIGS



In Scotland, a hate crime trial is currently being held over a “grossly offensive” incident last year, in which a local yob persuaded his ugly and defective pet beast to pay homage to a murderous 20th century regime. The defendant is the Chief Constable in command of Police Scotland, a notoriously defective police force, which has previously been known to arrest people for internet comments but leave young women to die in mortal emergencies. He has been accused of a hate crime for his sick impersonation of an NKVD commissar, in which he not only disrespected the memory of millions of victims of the Soviet regime, but actually sent thugs in uniforms to harass and imprison a man for saying something he didn’t like. The defence pleads the case for treating the event and the police force in question as a bad joke, but local people continue to express disgust at the lack of taste, especially as the offending behaviour was made at the defendant’s workplace.

Whoops! Sorry, that doesn’t quite sound like the wonderful free democratic society of modern Britain, does it? Let’s try again.

DEFINING POLITICAL CORRECTNESS


A FB friend recently asked me to provide a definition of “political correctness.” Here’s the definition I would use...

I would define “political correctness” as the common term for the institutionalization and enculturation of progressive moral norms in such a way that their transgression generates ridicule, disproportional feelings of outrage or indignation, ostracism of the supposed offending party, an inclination towards persecution on the part of the offended, and the possible imposition of social, economic, professional, institutional, or legal sanctions against the alleged offender, perhaps accompanied by mendacity, dishonesty, hypocrisy, or double standards on the part of the offended.

DAVID BOWIE: VISIONS OF SWASTIKAS



David Bowie, who recently died after an 18-month battle against cancer, will be remembered for many things. But one of the most interesting points about the man was the degree to which his creativity, especially at its height, coexisted with what came to be considered extremely taboo views, and the degree to which his talent tapered off as he became more acceptable in the eyes of the establishment.

We live in an age of oppressive political correctness, where almost anybody of prominence is forced to toe the line, lest they offend, "trigger," or commit "micro-aggressions"; and, if they do, they are required to humbly beg for forgiveness even where none is offered. Such intolerance even includes rock stars, the wild, shamanistic figures we reared up in the spiritual vacuum of the 1960s and 70s, through our appreciation of the Dionysian aspects of a fast-mutating musical culture.

But what about David Bowie and his obvious interest in Nazism and Fascism? Going by comments made in interviews, song lyrics, and stage imagery, the singer clearly had a crush on the 20th century's real counter culture. Why wasn't more made of this? Why was he let off the hook?

First the evidence of Bowie's fascism. Back in his 1970s heyday, he gleefully told reporters that "Hitler was the first pop star" and declared that "the best thing that can happen is for an extreme right government to come."

In his 1971 song Quicksand, he wrote:
I’m living in a silent film

portraying Himmler’s sacred realm of dream reality.
 Then there is his 1977 composition China Girl, which became a hit in 1983:
I stumble into town, just like a sacred cow

Visions of Swastikas in my head, plans for everyone.
But Bowie had gone even further than that. There are famous pictures of him waving and sieg heiling from an open-top black Mercedes of the kind that Hitler used.

Definitely not a coincidence. Then there is the lightning flash mark, a symbol of fascism, that was used for Aladdin Sane, as well as the SS symbols he used onstage for the Ziggy Stardust tour:


Of course, Bowie was an eclectic style stealer and far from being an "actual Nazi." His general sexual and narcotic degeneracy would have precluded that. However, he was at least open to elements and aspects of Nazism and Fascism in a way that made sense for someone in his creative, cerebral, and iconoclastic niche.

His Nazism quotient was certainly high enough to provide endless ammunition for "Social Justice Warriors" and "antifa" with nothing better to do. It is surprising therefore that more was not made of Bowie's flirtations with fascism and his frequent one-night stands with Nazism. Throughout his long career, no public statement or press conference was forced from him, in which he begged for forgiveness for his "hurtful" and "insensitive" comments, lyrics, or actions.

But then again, in the 1970s and 80s countless bands, including the likes of  The Sex Pistols, Joy Division/ New Order, The Skids, and Spear of Destiny played with Nazi imagery. Even the Jewish musician Mick Jones, who later found fame with the Clash, started off in an outfit called London SS!

Toying with Nazi imagery was certainly no worse than toying with Communist imagery, and in my opinion a lot less offensive, as Nazism only killed large numbers of people under wartime conditions, whereas Communism did the same and much worse under peacetime conditions.

But, given the hysteria that surrounds such symbols as the swastika and Confederate flag today, and the totalitarian "zero tolerance" attitude of political correctness, it is still surprising that the PC bigots left Bowie and his legacy alone.

Why is this? Probably it was due to a combination of factors – his age, his Somalian wife (perhaps that's one reason he married her), and his past bisexuality and androgyny. All these factors made him a slightly awkward target for SJWs to attack, as did his powerful lawyers.

But there was also some clever PR management. In rock histories and biographies of the man – like the one I read most recently, Christopher Sandford's Bowie: Loving The Alien (a solid, "meat and potatoes" effort) – Bowie's fascistic dalliance is more-or-less explained away as an aspect of his drug-addled years, rather than anything significant. This, of course, is the kind of excuse an average member of the public would not be allowed if he or she tweeted or shared similar words or imagery on social media after a few drinks too many.

But has PC exacted a cost on Bowie?

Some will say that his talent declined simply because of age; while others will ascribe his creative decline to the same cause as his "fascism" – a brain burnt out on massive amounts of drugs. Both explanations are quite feasible. But I would entertain a third possibility, that for an iconoclastic soul like Bowie his creative downturn was related to the growing intolerance of our age and the unrealistic expectation that rock stars be "respectable" and line up their ideological ducks with the establishment.

This trend really started to get going in the 1980s, and it is perhaps the reason why that decade was also the last truly creative decade in the history of popular music. Bowie's dip in creativity almost perfectly matches the growing imposition of political correctness in the 1980s, with his 1983 album Let's Dance being his last potent record (with the possible exception of his just released final album). Alongside the fascistic China Girl, that album also included gestures towards political correctness, like the narrative touting the "oppression" of the Aborigines on the video for the album's title track.

What is a rock star if he cannot exist beyond the taboos that circumscribe the rest of us? Answer: a mere musician with an stupid hair cut. During the lifetime of David Bowie (1947–2016), visions of swastikas were incapable of ever bringing back the Third Reich, but they might have helped the occasional taboo-busting rock star find a seam of true creativity.

Comedy can sometimes function as prophecy. In the 1980s, the "PC" police hadn't yet sprung into action. With a few exceptions, there was no real "SJW" activism in evidence.

It certainly wasn't like today, wherein open season has been declared against wrongthinkers far and wide, and no holds are barred in attempting to ruin those dastardly ideological deviants (your humble scribe included) wherever they have the effrontery to manifest their hateful heresies.

Still, the late 80s began to see the coalescing of a certain censorious proclivity among some critics, and like geiger counters detecting radioactivity, or canaries apprehending poisonous air, comedians were the first to notice, and comment upon, this shift.

It is a fairly commonplace assertion on the Right that political correctness, which is the closest thing to a moral code in Western progressivism, seeks to make “injustices,” “hatreds,” and “phobias” out of things that were previously considered perfectly normal and natural. We do not need to look far afield for the victims of this tendency: they include ethnic consciousness in Europeans, the polarity of the sexes, and – increasingly – the assumption that the sex of an individual cannot be altered by genital surgery or hormone therapy.

Less well understood is the tendency of political correctness to take up real injustices, pathologies, and hatreds, and redefine them as shining examples of “social justice."

GAMERGATE REVEALS LEFTIST MO OF PASSIVE AGGRESSION

Officially, GamerGate is over. The debate about it has only begun, mostly because it was never understood.

GamerGate combines several hot-button issues. The first is the corruption of our media, which is why they are eager to declare it over and dead. The second is the intrusion of “social justice warrior” (SJW) politics into the field of gaming and beyond. The third is political correctness and whether we have any right to escape it ever.

DEGENERATE MORALITY

                     

Anyone who has seriously tried to practise any sort of virtue, however meagre, will know the necessity of making a habit of it – not just “knowing” it theoretically, but engraving it into his very being by constant repetition, so that he becomes what he repeatedly does. Because of this necessity for constant repetition, virtue cannot be left to the “important things” alone, but must permeate the insignificant and trivial ones as well. This is why the Hagakure contains the advice that “small matters should be taken seriously”; and this is perhaps also the reason behind the more arbitrary and petty aspects of religious and traditional codes.

In any case, it is a concept sorely neglected in the present day, as relativism provides the ultimate excuse to force all forms of virtue to bend and flex in the wind of particular circumstances and situations. But someone who cannot practise virtue inflexibly and habitually is very rarely able to practise it at all. Contrary to the belief of almost all of our contemporaries, someone who is accustomed to telling thousands of gentle lies and half-truths in everyday life cannot simply put down his habit of dishonesty to think about “important things” like life, the world, and himself; and this is similar to the truth that, despite much fantasising to the contrary, someone who is accustomed to avoiding confrontation in small matters of honour will rarely be able to draw his courage from its rusty scabbard on an occasion when he really needs it.

The latest case to emerge of sexual grooming and abuse by Pakistani gangs committed against English children in the Northern town of Rotherham has finally pushed the issue to national breakthrough and media saturation level, but in essence this is nothing new. It is only the magnitude – 1,400 victims (conservative estimate) in a town of a quarter of a million over 16 years – that is different.

It is a horrifying thought, but if the entire UK were like Rotherham, we could project a national total of 336,000 child sex abuse victims. Thankfully, not the whole of the country is cursed with Pakistani immigrant communities.

DYSTOPIAS: FICTION AND FACT

In this latest video log, Andy Nowicki talks about the new movie The Giver, and analyzes the reasons why dystopian scenarios seem to be turning up with greater frequency in YA novels and big-budget movies these days. As we enter the age of civil rights fatigue those who oppose diversity will face increasing opposition from the dying system. Liberal Democracy has been transformed into a police state, like Stalin's Russia or Mao's China, to manage immigration or the importation of cheap labour for the elites. The persecution has been going on for over 50 years and did not begin with Political Correctness but is part of the multi-racialists' outlook. It got much worse from the 1960s when the new elites formed an "Ideological Caste" with membership dependent not on blood, birth, or class, but on holding the right opinions. To rise in life one has to conform to their ideology. What I would like to focus on is how the "Caste" gang up on their victims and the Gestapo/ KGB style methods they use.

SWEBOLA – THE SCOURGE OF THE WEST

You’ll have heard of Ebola, the deadly African virus that constantly threatens to break out and sweep all before it on the Dark Continent. Less well known is an even more deadly virus that is already sweeping across the continent of Europe and the West in general. It is deadly because it is still little understood. Indeed, this article represents the first time that anybody has even bothered to give it a name –Swebola.

Just as the symptoms of Ebola are terrible – severe abdominal pain, diarrhoea, vomiting, unbearable headaches, multiple organ failure, mucous membrane haemorrhaging, and necrosis – so the signs of Swebola are equally horrifying. These include a complete loss of self-respect combined with smug arrogance, severe masochism, intense gender confusion, deep loathing for one’s own race and culture, a self-destructive urge to pay heavy taxes in order to be surrounded by the most dysfunctional elements of the Third World, and a psychopathic horror of free speech. In particularly severe cases it may even manifest as an urge to be gang-raped, murdered, and set on fire, followed by a wish to ‘forgive’ the perpetrators from beyond the grave.
