Contrary to popular belief, the natural world provides several parallels for the behaviour of decadent humans. One of the most dramatic of these is found in the behaviour of a caterpillar after being stung by a parasitoid wasp, which injects its larvae directly into the caterpillar’s body. As the wasp larvae feed on its insides and grow to maturity, the parasitised caterpillar goes on munching away on vegetation as if nothing had happened — until the larvae finally chew their way out of its body. Whereupon the caterpillar spins a protective coccoon around them and ferociously defends them from predators as if they were its own young, until the wasps are ready to fly away and the exhausted caterpillar helpfully starves to death.

Lately, I stumbled upon an article on a site called The Federalist which—if the countless comments are any indication—is a popular purveyor of mainstream conservatism. Along with attacking Dota's old post on National Capitalism, this tirade of an article trots out all the hackneyed Conservatism 101 talking points. In order to illustrate the increasing irrelevancy of Conservatism Inc's platitudes, I'm going to go through this post bit by bit.

THE CUCKSERVATIVE MYTH

In his famous novel, East of Eden, John Steinbeck wrote about the life and times of Adam Trask, a Prince Mishkin-like character, who – among other misfortunes – fell in love with a sociopathic prostitute/ blackmailer/ murderer by the name of Cathy Ames, whom he had rescued after she received a thorough beating from her fat and very angry pimp.

As he tended to her wounds, Trask became so enchanted by Cathy’s beauty (and vulnerability) that he constructed a fictional image of her inside his head, essentially turning the whore into a goddess. Adam’s brother, Charles, saw through Cathy’s facade stating to his brother that “She’s no damn good, I tell you. She’s a whore.”

WHAT TO MAKE OF "CUCKSERVATIVE"?

Just recently, the term “cuckservative” – popularized by the alternative right – has incurred the wrath of mainstream white conservatives. Gregory Hood and Matt Forney have both written excellent articles explaining what constitutes cuckservatism, so I don’t really have much to add in this regard.

I’ll just say that I embrace this term, as well as any friction that the word engenders. The term “cuckservative,” provided that it catches on, has the potential to reform an increasingly stagnant and feckless mainstream conservative establishment; as of now, the American right continues to get thoroughly trounced on just about every issue. Gay marriage is the law of the land, transsexuals such as “Caitlyn” Jenner are lionized, secularism reigns supreme, and non-whites continue to demographically eclipse the people who actually vote Republican.

RESTORING THE EUROPEAN SUBJECT: THE HISTORICAL AND ECONOMIC ROOTS OF "CUCKSERVATISM"

Much has been said about the "Cuckservatism" phenomenon, about whether it is simply a slur word or not, or whether it is a backdoor way of reintroducing racial and tribal narratives that White people are simply not allowed to use outside of the alternative right. There are various points of view and a number of valid lines of argument, but it is the essence of "Cuckservatism" that I want to look at here.

A parsimonious definition of "Cuckservatism" would see it as an objective re-framing of American Conservatism to view it as a set of values – stemming from Northern European roots – that have been hijacked or distorted to serve globalist business interests, the State of Israel, Hispanics, and even Blacks.

THE KLUELESS KUCKS KLAN

In recent days the Cuckservative meme seems to have taken off, spreading from the covens and enclaves of the alternative right to the underbelly of the mainstream media. But what exactly is the Cuckservative mentality, and can it be defeated simply by the dissemination of a powerful pun and meme?

To answer these questions it is necessary to look more closely at the workings of the basic Conservative/Cuckservative mentality. There are several important factors to consider. These include:

• White/Non-White asymmetry
• The internal and the external nature of the threat to Whites
• False threat consciousness and the tendency to externalize enemies
• Christianity as a facilitating mechanism

The first point to make is that America (as well as the Greater West) exhibits a strongly asymmetric character, by which I mean that, even though Whites are courting their own ultimate destruction, they remain in a position of near total dominance.
