REVIEW: "THE TRAIL OF THE VIKING FINGER"

Trail of the Viking Finger: A Northern Family Saga
by John Bean, Troubador Publishing, 228 Pages

Reviewed by Colin Liddell

I was amazed when John Bean, the veteran British nationalist, came out with an excellent novel a couple of years ago at the grand old age of 87. This even put Grandma Moses in the shade for late starts, and was a sign of hope to all those of us who continually defer our dreams. I was even more amazed that the novel, Blood in the Square, based on Bean’s own experiences in British nationalism in the 1960s, read so well.

THE PRESENT IS A FOREIGN COUNTRY

"The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there," is the famous opening sentence of The Go Between, a 1953 novel by the English novelist, L.P. Hartley. It is used to set up a flashback to 50 years before, and to reflect on the changes in English culture and manners wrought by two world wars and the torrent of modernity.

LONDON'S NEW MUSLIM MAYOR CONFIRMS URBAN BRITAIN'S CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION

A prelude to jihad?
by Jack Buckby

London just elected a Muslim mayor. Sadiq Khan, formerly the Member of Parliament for Tooting, now represents almost 9 million people in London, a city that has been utterly transformed as a result of decades of mass immigration, failed policies of state-sponsored multiculturalism and, more recently, social engineering.

The election of Mr Khan marks the complete transformation of our capital city and urban Britain as a whole. The new London Mayor, who won by double-digit percentage points, hit headlines recently after it was exposed he had shared a platform with five Islamic extremists. At a 2004 event in the Tooting Islamic Centre, Khan shared a stage with a Hamas supporter, and a preacher by the name of Suliman Gani who openly supported an Islamic state.

LOSING LONDON TO REGAIN ENGLAND

Facing the Problem (and Forcing the Issue) of Multicultural Meltdown

London is the only city in the world that can credibly argue that it is both the greatest city in the world and that it is the greatest city in all of history. Excepting Paris, there is not another city in the world that has been so central to its nation’s identity for so long. (I don’t know, maybe some Scandinavian capital has always been just as dominant in its national conscious, but I’m talking about major powers.) Of England’s truly world famous monuments, most are found in, or very near, the City of London. London is England’s New York, Washington, and Hollywood, all in one. Much more could be said about London’s immense significance to England and the world, but none of it changes the fact that, sooner or later, England needs to let it go.

THE TROUBLE WITH GEORGE

Today is St. George's Day! So break out the old red-and-white banner (the police are on their way, you racist!), thump the "three lions" badge on your chest, and burst into the rousing chorus of Jerusalem, the stirring hymn that is tipped to become the official English national anthem when the UK breaks up in a few years time.

Notice anything odd about all these icons of English identity? They are all from the Middle East or Africa.

SIMON DANCZUK, CYRIL SMITH, AND THE MUSLIMS OF ROCHDALE

Pedophile politician and panderer to Pakistanis

Last week, the flag of Pakistan was raised at Rochdale Town Hall to celebrate Pakistan Day (held every year on the 21st of March, apparently.)

The flag was raised by the Mayor of Rochdale and the ceremony was attended by various local councillors and the local Labour MP, Simon Danczuk.

The Pakistani organiser of the event, Ghulam Rasul Shahzad, said: "It is about our heritage and providing information to the local community. It is also about our youngsters as well because they are the future." In response, the Labour MP said: "It is great that we have so many people of Pakistani origin in Rochdale."

VIDEO: TOMMY ROBINSON SPEAKING AT THE OXFORD UNION

Tommy Robinson, British political prisoner and ex-leader of the English Defence League, giving an impassioned speech at the Oxford Union in November, 2014. He talks about Muslim-inspired rape, violence, and terrorism in his home town of Luton, and the facilitating role that the British police and legal system have played in the process.

FIFTY SHADES INTERRACIAL UNDERAGE RAPE

The "Rotherham child-sex-rape-grooming case" – for want of a better term – has broken like the dams of the Ruhr when they were bombed in 1943, and we are now being inundated with a flood of revelations, followed by an even bigger deluge of outrage and moral posturing.

"1,400 victims"..."eleven-year-old girl"..."raped"..."doused in petrol and threatened"..."turned a blind eye to"..."afraid to be called racist" – are the sound bites and tag lines that are bobbing around like bits of debris on this mainstream-and-social-media-generated tsunami.

English Witness to Their Darkest Hour is a compendium of experiences and insights from ordinary people and some commentators in the media. It is not so much controversial as shocking: but not shocking in the conventional sense of, say, porn on TV, but the revelation of a situation that is not officially admitted. Even followers of patriotic sites who are aware of the move to totalitarianism will be affected by the impact of so many examples of injustice and oppression. The oppressors, are what I call the "Ideological Caste," which is based not on birth, blood or land, but on expressing the correct ideological thoughts.

The English are usually accused of perpetrating evils like colonialism, racism, and imperialism on other people, but author Pat Scrivener shows with examples that the authorities are actually perpetrating them on the English.

RAPE OF A NATION

Are Europeans turning into Elois?
by Paul Weston

Britain is a very odd place these days. We are being subjected to what amounts to a racial and cultural war against us, yet our politicians refuse to talk about it, and the overwhelming majority of the indigenous population seem too cowed and fearful to force the politicians to not just recognise the problem, but to actually do something about it.

Consider the story regarding the rapist Mawawe Ibraham Karam and what it tells you about the cultural and social fabric of England. Karam is an illegal immigrant from Sudan who attacked and raped a drunken indigenous English girl in Nottingham earlier this year. Despite the clear distress of the girl, any number of passers-by ignored her predicament, as did local taxi drivers.

Viewed in isolation, this is just a drearily predictable end of a night out in the modern Britain built around liberal/ left values. “Empowered” girls too drunk to control their own lives; predatory third-world immigrants taking advantage of them and a mass of timid, cowardly Brits too scared to confront a rapist — and so lacking in basic decency they would not help the victim even after the rapist had fled the scene.

SEA CHANGES: AN INTERVIEW WITH DEREK TURNER

by Andy Nowicki

The fact that Derek Turner’s magisterial Sea Changes is a deeply “relevant” novel ought not to fool the potential reader into thinking that it has the typical earmarks of a “timely” read. Though its multifaceted, intricately-weaved storyline perfectly embodies the “ripped from today’s headlines” clichĂ©, Sea Changes also has the feel of a timeless work, written less for the day and more for the ages.

Indeed, though Turner is writing about events and phenomena that many find enraging—politically-correct British ethno-masochism, mass Third World immigration and the concomitant mounting threat of white extinction in England—Sea Changes is notable for not reading as an angry or incendiary novel. Those expecting a crudely cartoonish anti-anti-racism screed a la The Turner Diaries are sure to be disappointed. Though Turner clearly means to skewer and savage the anti-“racist” (read: anti-white) cant-driven dogmas and smelly little orthodoxies that saturate our era, he does so in a most elegant and compassionate manner, with malice towards none except the unforgivably disingenuous.

MUTUAL INDEPENDENCY

Last month, closely following the impressive march for Catalan independence through the streets of Barcelona in Spain, Scottish nationalists also staged a large march through the streets of Edinburgh in an attempt to rally the Scottish people to the cause of Scottish independence to be decided in a referendum planned for 2014.

Under the firm leadership of Alex Salmond, the Scottish National Party (SNP) now rules in Scotland, but he is demanding greater powers to deal with Scotland's troubling social and economic problems in the middle of an economic downturn caused by a credit crunch in the international financial markets and a debt crisis at the heart of Europe.

BRITAIN'S STUPID AND EVIL PARTIES

Contrary to what most of the pundits are saying, the recent Oldham East and Saddleworth by-election in the UK was very revealing about the state and direction of British politics.

With Labour winning a seat they have held since its inception (42 percent of the vote), the Liberal-Democrats coming second with a marginally increased percentage of the vote (31.9 percent), and the Conservative vote being squeezed in a seat they had little hope of winning (12.8 percent), political commentators have been left with little of interest to remark on. But this is because they have been ignoring yet again the increasingly important substratum of British politics and how it impacts on the top flight.
