Reading Martin Gilbert’s Churchill and the Jews: A Lifelong Friendship brought to mind that infamous article which Winston Churchill wrote in 1920, for a popular British Sunday newspaper, the Illustrated Sunday Herald, entitled "Zionism versus Bolshevism: A Struggle for the Soul of the Jewish People." Gilbert devotes a small chapter to the essay, provoking me to write my objections to Churchill's very biased argumentation in favour of Zionism.

As an author, I faithfully go wherever my flighty and unpredictable Muse leads me. This dedication to my ever-evolving, often elusive source of inspiration has led me down a winding and torturous path, lined with copious clusters of thorns, nettles, and poison ivy. It has most certainly not, thus far, brought me widespread recognition, fortune, fame, or glory. Yet I trust my Muse just the same, because really, when it comes to creative stimulation, who or what else do I have? Without her, I’m nothing.

I will not spill too much ink here investigating the identity, orientation, or overall reliability of the Muse, nor even exploring the question of whether she dwells within, capriciously stirring my consciousness when she feels the inexplicable urge (but always on her own terms) or if in fact she is a separate entity entirely, one who hovers above me, flitting about and occasionally whispering mischievous notions in my ear before withdrawing with a girlish giggle, darting away to a cleverly chosen hiding spot and teasingly mocking my efforts to find her again. Suffice to say that she moves in mysterious, and at times infuriating, ways. In the last couple of years, however, the Muse has proven to be a faithful helpmeet; she has sung to me freely, and I have translated her music into numerous works, some that I have managed to publish and others that have yet to find a suitable suitor.

STAR WARS: THE DIVERSITY AWAKENS

Much has been said about the latest Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens. In Alt-Right circles this has tended to focus on a kind of unholy trinity of:

1. The malevolent Jewishness of J.J. Abrams
2. The malevolent casting of a Black actor in one of the two lead roles
3. The malevolent casting of a "kick-ass," "empowered" woman in the other lead

It is not difficult to "prove" any one of these points. Abrams is on record making negative comments about Whiteness and his desire to diversify the cast, and it is not difficult to spin these comments as maliciously anti-White or his casting as “anti-White” and “anti-male.”

ECOTOGENESIS PROVOKES HILARIOUS RESPONSE FROM FEMINISTS

The idea of Ectogenesis (artificial womb technology) has been with us since the 1920s. Its implications have been discussed in Brave New World and even The Matrix. The purpose of this article isn’t to predict the viability of this technology but to highlight the feminist response. The evolution of this technology began to gain momentum about twenty years ago and the feminist response has been quite amusing. Some feminists like Shulamith Firestone believed that anything which would free women from reproduction ought to be welcomed. Soraya Chemaly writes:

"In her seminal work, The Dialectic of Sex, written in 1970, Shulamith Firestone argued that inequality between genders, and women’s virtual imprisonment in the home, was the direct result of biological reproductive differences and women’s correlating investments in mothering. For her, ectogenesis, accompanied by revolutionary social changes, was the way to free women from the tyranny of their own biology put in the employ of patriarchal structures, including the traditional family. She noted that, so far, these technical and social changes have been impeded by medicine’s domination by men, who have no vested interest in upsetting the traditional status quo." (Emphasis mine)

It is remarkable that feminists who wage war against their own female biology should have the temerity to brand others “misogynists,” but that is the subject for another post. Nevertheless, we must give Firestone credit for remaining faithful to the tenets of her ideology, demented as it may very well be. Other feminists have responded with great alarm that this technology (when fully developed) would result in the obsolescence of women.

It looks like the world’s oldest profession continues to be attacked from the newest crop of do-gooder liberals. One example comes from an editorial in Al Jazeera where the author, one Simon Hedlin, asserts that the “Swedish model” is the best means of tackling sex trafficking/prostitution. Basically, the Swedish model decriminalizes the selling of sex – which lets the hookers off the hook – while penalizing buyers. I’m not really interested in delving into the whole debate over the morality of prostitution itself, as the late George Carlin said it far better than I ever could:

The American Conservative recently published a blog post with the title "Russia’s ‘Orthodox Jihad'." While it is an interesting presentation of views that are rarely heard in the West regarding Russia, it contains a problematic theory, which states that the push-back against the West is bouyed by the idea that Putin is leading an "anti-W.E.I.R.D." coalition. This is an acronym that stands for "Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich and Democratic."

The now-notorious Mohammed cartoons published in Denmark last year have in fact a historical, as well as geographical, precedent. In 1845, a satirical Danish journal named Corsair ran a series of cartoons mocking the appearance of Copenhagen author and personality — and later renowned philosopher and Christian polemicist — Søren Kierkegaard (1813–1855). The cartoons highlighted the writer's baggy, ill-fitting clothes, particularly focusing attention upon his chronically uneven pant legs.

In a prior article posted at Alternative Right and afterwards republished at another *site*, I discussed what I felt to be the misandric double standards which adhere to contemporary writers of erotic-themed literature who happen to be phallically-afflicted; that is, male. In short, women who write explicit sex scenes are applauded for not being repressed – you go, girl! — while men who do the same are looked at askance as queasy perverts, creepy stalkers, and likely rapists. It is part of a general cultural Zeitgeist-sponsored trend which promotes obstreperous expressions of female sexuality as good and proper exercises in ‘sex-positivity’ and ‘empowerment’, while denigrating male arousal as something altogether icky and gross.

Following last year's multiple sex scandal, Tiger Woods has now finally come out and apologized in what looked like a heavily scripted and intensely rehearsed performance before a select audience of sympathetic friends and media for the benefit of his corporate advertising profile. After all that has happened, it will certainly be an uphill struggle to re-launch the golfer's shattered career and image, and save his marriage.

While the lurid details of this scandal have held a fleeting interest for the general public, this case is worthy of more serious consideration because it reveals a great deal about the shortcomings and contradictions of the multicultural globalism that we are opposed to.
