The Anglo-Irish poet W.B. Yeats said it best:
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world
This is more or less where America is now, after the inconclusive midterm elections, where both Trumpians and the far-Left did well, while centrists and cuckservatives were squeezed.
