THE STARK TRUTH: RETURN OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ANIMAL

Robert Stark and Matthew Pegas talk to David Cole about his recent Ann Coulter event, and the past, present, and future of the Republican Party. David Cole writes for Takimag and is the author of Republican Party Animal.

In 1998, due to death threats and other pressures, holocaust revisionist David Cole faked his own death and began a new life as David Stein, a Hollywood insider and Republican Party activist. In 2014, however, his true identity was revealed, leading to Cole being shunned by his Republican friends and losing work. Now, thanks to the election of Trump, the mood has changed so much in the GOP that Cole has been "rehabilitated" by important figures on the mainstream right like Ann Coulter.

THE STARK TRUTH: BOBOS IN PARADISE

Robert Stark and Matthew Pegas talk to Joshua Zeidner about the cultural phenomenon and book by David Brooks Bobos in Paradise: The New Upper Class and How They Got There

Written in 2000, Brooks' book focused on how American elites were reinventing their cultural image, using bourgeois and bohemian tropes from the 19th century—hence "Bobo." This later led to the creation of modern day Hipster culture. Among the topics covered are the synergy between Bobo culture and the Neoliberal restructuring of the US economy, virtue signaling, Trustafarians, urban gentrification, and sartorial slumification.

'CULTURIST' DR. JOHN PRESS - THE ROBERT STARK INTERVIEW

As I have been traveling, it has been 20 days since Robert Stark and Pilleater interviewed me.  But, as Trump still refuses to touch culture, the issues herein remain fresh.  My Grab 'Em by the Pussy song, race, and the Alt-Right Ethno-Nationalist state are among the other issues discussed.

TALKIN' PEPE

This is a bit old, but worth noting in retrospect, and well worth a listen: Robert Stark and his guest host Alex von Goldstein engage in an amusing and informative meta-conversation about that most "meta" of memes, Pepe the Frog, and the little green guy's ironic emergence as an alt-right icon.

THE RADICAL CENTRE

Pat Buchanan and Ralph Nader.

During my first interview with Robert Stark, Robert and I concurred that the best ideological platform would be an eclectic mix of Pat Buchanan and Ralph Nader’s beliefs. We further discussed this stance when hanging out in SF, and Robert even requested that I dedicate a post to this issue. On account of the presidential campaign heating up, I figure that now is as good a time as any to honor his request and expand on this topic.
