The moderate nationalist party Alternative for Germany (AfD) has now surpassed the Social Democrats to become the 2nd most popular party in Germany according to the latest opinion poll conducted by the INSA polling center for the German Bild daily newspaper.

BERLIN: Chancellor Angela Merkel put on a brave face (let's face it any face would be better than her own) and said that she is "still optimistic" about the chances of creating a "Frankenstein coalition" composed of completely disparate parties, after an initial round of talks completely failed to produce positive results.
Following the September 24 election, which deeply dented the power of Merkel's ruling Christian Democratic Union and gave the nationalist Alternative fur Deutschland a large number of seats, the Chancellor has been struggling to put together a coalition with the Greens and the Free Democrats.

THE GENIUS OF MERKEL IS THE USEFUL IDIOT OF GERMAN NATIONALISM
The central question of German politics since 1945 was always: “How will nationalism make its comeback to the German political mainstream?” Like a good suspense novel the German political system kept us guessing for a long time and even threw in a few political red herrings.
- Would the Cold War see a form of German nationalism revived as a counterpoint to the militarism of the Soviet Union? Some of the scenes from the 1965 movie Battle of the Bulge clearly hinted at this.
- Would Helmut Kohl’s 1990 reunification of east and west lead to a less cucked Fatherland that wasn’t scared of its own historical shadow?
- Would the NPD be able to brush off its rough edges and overcome infiltrators from the security services to edge out of its East German ghettos?
- And what about Pegida?
There was plenty to keep us guessing. All these narratives caught our attention for a while, only to reveal themselves as entertaining distractions. But, finally, with the results of Sunday’s election we were given our answer – the true German post-war miracle, the return of a nationalist party, with some caveats, to mainstream German politics was down to the machinations of Germany’s most brilliant and scheming politician of the last 20 years, Angela Merkel.

99 years ago today the most important event of the 20th century took place, the launch of the last great German offensive in World War One. WWII was merely a post-script to what happened on that day.
By early 1918, the Germans were in a tight spot. Although Russia had been knocked out of the War by the Bolshevik Revolution and the agreement of Brest-Litovsk, which had ceded enormous territories, the Germans and their Allies were suffering the effects of the prolonged British naval blockade and deep discontent on the home front, with war weariness and strikes breaking out. In 2015, just as the refugee crisis was ramping up, a report on the BBC carried the horrifying news that the German birth rate had fallen below that of Japan. The Japanese birth rate is notoriously low but at least Japan still has a policy of not accepting massive amounts of refugees and other immigrants. The report said that the German birthrate had fallen to a mere 8.2 children per 1,000 people per year over the last five years. Presumably a large part of that was generated by the non-White immigrants already there.

Another major example of "instant karma" in history was the German Revolution of November 1918, which started today 98 years ago. It followed the defeat of the German army on the Western front and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and was an important factor in the hastily arranged armistice made on the 11th of November, an armistice that placed Germany at a distinct disadvantage in subsequent peace negotiations.

Tensions are high all over Europe because of Muslim acts of terrorism and rape, the latest ones being the mob attacks on German women in Cologne.
While acts of terrorism will come and go, and may even abate for long periods of time thanks to the efficiency of our surveillance and police states, acts of Muslim rape are much less likely to cease. They will continue to be a regular and recurring phenomenon wherever Muslim migrants are housed, and can be expected to keep tensions between migrants and the locals simmering over.
