ALT-RIGHT PODCAST 6: REBEL SWELL!
THE SOUND OF THE CROWD
About a decade ago, I identified the phenomenon of Crowdism whereby individuals demand to be freed from consequences of their actions, and band together into groups as a sort of mutual aid society that will attack anyone who doesn’t agree. This forms a hive mind that snowballs and soon creates a monolithic, paranoid Utopian groupthink.
The point of Crowdism is not that evil people exist, although they do, or that people are tempted by evil, which they are. It’s that stupid ideas exist and they sound good, and that in crowds, people bow down to the judgment of others and go along with the herd, resulting in destructive and illusory “solutions.” Socializing makes us dumb because we obey the social standard, not the reality standard.

TOWARDS A CENTRAL EUROPEAN UNION?
In my recent piece arguing that European ethnonationalists ought to think seriously about secession, especially in the face of Germany’s reckless immigration policy, I regret that I was not more explicit about one point: the idea of a Central European Union.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at least understands, and is willing to say so publicly, that Germany’s immigration policy is an existential threat to the European people. The governments of The Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland (where the governing center-Right party was recently defeated at the polls by a more Right-wing party) seem to agree. That is a start, but words must be followed by action, and for that to happen, ethnonationalists in those countries need to force the issue.

THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG
When the future history of the former United States of America is written, the pivotal turning point that likely marked the downfall of the USA will be the events of September 11, 2001.
The United States emerged from World War Two as the most powerful nation-state in the world, rivaled only by the second-rate Soviet Union. American hegemony and dominance spread throughout the world as the countries of Western Europe became protectorates of the USA, and the colonies of the former European colonial empires in Asia, Africa, and Latin America became U.S. client states.

GO SCOTLAND!
by Nick Land
Tribal politics excites the autobiographical impulse, which I’ll pander to for just a moment (without pretending to any particular excitement). My immediate ancestry is a quarter Scottish, and — here’s the thing — those grandparents were Wallaces. Seriously, they were these guys.
…but it’s my remaining three-quarters of mongrelized Brit that is leading this post to its destination. In particular, the 37.5% of English blood coursing through my veins is the part murmuring most enthusiastically for Scotland to vote ‘Yes!’ to departure this week.
SECEDE TO SURVIVE
The League of the South has put up a starkly striking billboard in downtown Tallahassee, Florida with a one word message: SECEDE.
The billboard has ruffled some feathers, which was surely inevitable.... Here, Dr. Michael Hill of the League responds to some of the group's critics:
And here, Hill has a surprisingly amicable encounter with a black reporter... maybe a race war isn't inevitable, after all?
SHOOTING AN ELEPHANT
The Republican party serves as a resource sink for the right wing. It’s a token resistance to the left, which temporarily delays the general ruination of the country, if that. The neocon faction, which has suffered catastrophic losses since the financial collapse that footed the Bush II presidency, was more a different varietal of mainstream leftism than representative of rightist thought.
The right wing tends to blunt itself when it pursues democratic political power, because winning elections requires ideological dilution, as is taught in any political science course. I’ll stop writing now about why the GOP sucks, because this should be review for most of you.
The Republican party can never again gain national authority as in the manner that its ‘base’ wants it to, because, as Mitt Romney noticed during his campaign, roughly 47% of the country is reliant on transfer payments from the state to make ends meet. The real number is probably higher, given that many private companies rely on government contracts.

THE ULTIMATE SECESSION
There’s a lot excitement right now about the recent outbreak of petitions on the White House website calling for secession. The latest news says there are petitions now for all fifty States, with Texas already collecting over 100,000 signatures. Wow!
On the surface this is fine. It’s even harmless fun. Nothing will come of it from this White House and it’s good to see people mentally moving in the right direction, according to my worldview.
