BERLIN AND WHY I AM A WHITE "INFERIORIST"

German police diligently guarding a piece of tape.

Damn! I hate these terrorist attacks that have now become the "new normal." I hate them for the usual reasons—the horror and tragedy of perfectly innocent people, especially children, being mowed down at random—but I also hate them for more unorthodox reasons, because I am a White Inferiorist.

What exactly does that mean? Well, if you're in the Alt-Right and somebody who isn't knows it, there is a good chance they will call you a "White Supremacist" among other things.

A TALE OF TWO CONFERENCES: REFLECTIONS ON THE NPI AND ADL SUMMITS

Greenblatt and Spencer

by Basil Benton
"The two most precious things this side of the grave are our reputation and our life. But it is to be lamented that the most contemptible whisper may deprive us of the one, and the weakest weapon of the other."~Charles Caleb Colton
It was with some trepidation that I arrived in Washington D.C. for the NPI Conference, expecting demonstrations and protests, especially since Trump had won the election. Unfortunately, between the brashness of demonstrators and the fallout from the media after the conference, little attention has been paid to its actual content. Indeed, I was eager to read Matt Forney's piece for RightOn, but this almost exclusively addressed confrontations with the demonstrators. Nevertheless, I thank him for doing so, as their "deplorable" behavior was completely ignored by the mainstream media, which managed to pick only the pits from our bowl of cherries.

PUNCH EVERYWHERE

Lately a chorus of admonitions has arisen amongst some in the alt-right commentariat, to the effect that that a loyal adherent to right-wing ideals ought never "punch right."

By this, they seem to mean:
If someone else who shares your essential viewpoint makes a tactical mistake or even does something that you consider to be gravely wrong, keep your negative opinion to yourself. By all means, share your concerns in private with other loyal soldiers of the cause, but defend the wrongdoer publicly because he is your comrade in arms, and because you don't want to give aid and comfort to the opposition by exposing dissension in your ranks.

A 'SPENCER' IS HAUNTING AMERICA...

Richard Spencer. Love him or hate him, or lukewarm water him? Richard Spencer, say it in a sing-song voice to the melody of "Under Pressure." Say it three times while looking in the mirror in a darkened room and suddenly he appears.

Indeed, Richard Spencer seems to be ubiquitous as of late; a portentous, well-mannered, troll-smiling "whyte supreeeeemacist" whose whack-a-mole publicity tour is making national headlines and whose reverberations reach into the highest offices of the land - Richard Spencer is unavoidable. And it is precisely this notoriety that will propel the Movement forwards.

IT'S NOT ABOUT WHO'S IN THE MOVEMENT, IT'S ABOUT WHO'S NOT IN THE MOVEMENT YET

Would you accept your first red pill from this suspicious-looking individual? Probably not.

by Newfoundlander

When I saw what went down at the NPI conference I was livid and distraught. I wasn’t personally offended; I read and enjoy this kind of thing on TheRightStuff all the time. I get that it is ironic and in jest, and I find it funny. I know that Richard Spencer is not a Nazi. I’m not livid because of some kneejerk offense reaction on my part, I am livid because of the damage Spencer has done to the Alt-Right.

FAILURE AT THE GATES OF VICTORY

COME HEIL OR HIGH WATER?

by Colin Liddell

Virtue and vice are not, as the Left supposes, determined by a line that divides humanity into "the Blessed" and "the Damned." That is a very Manichean, Judaic, and inherently non-European concept, which has, like some toxic chemical, been present in the moral bloodstream of our civilisation for too long, and with which Western Christianity has long struggled.

No, that simplistic view of good and evil creates a retarded morality that is unable to recognise the organic complexity of reality, and which thus cuts across it with a brutal and unforgiving blade. True virtue is, as Aristotle expounded, a Golden Mean between two unhealthy extremes. Between Cowardice and Rashness, lies the golden virtue of Courage. Between Humility and Vanity, Pride glitters in all its glory...

REVIEW: RADIX II

The Deformation of the Conservative Movement

by Colin Liddell

There has been a long gap between the first copy of Radix Journal and the second one, which has recently appeared in print a good three years later. Compared to its predecessor, which clocked in at 300 pages, concentrated on the possibly overambitious theme of the "deconstruction of White European identity," and even sent Andy Nowicki on an all-expenses-paid trip to report on the "Rainbow Nation" of South Africa, Radix II—The Great Purge: The Deformation of the Conservative Movement has a narrower focus — namely the history of the American Conservative movement — as well as a lower page count (206 pages). This might seem like a case of the journal’s publisher and editor, Richard Spencer, drawing in his horns.

NORD BY NORD-WEST: A GUIDO GONZO REPORT FROM NPI

"I Sing the Disembodied Electric"

I traveled with three companions, part of a Pan-European nationalist student group to Richard Spencer’s NPI conference by car from Toronto Canada.

I had not visited our Southern Neighbor since I was a little boy and my father would take me to Buffalo to visit his uncle. On this occasion I observed marked differences between the two countries, some of which I was only conceptually aware of; namely the ubiquitous presence of the military in people's lives, something that is so foregrounded in American society as to be institutionalized in a way Canadians cannot understand in our post-bellum, soft, socialist, multiculturalist dystopia. And, yes, Americans are significantly fatter on average. But there was also a marked religious element pervading their worldview, something altogether transcendent and not always rooted in institutions.

REVIEW: "A LIFE IN THE POLITICAL WILDERNESS"

A Life in the Political Wilderness
by Welf Herfurth
240 pages

This is a stimulating and readable collection of essays that I found myself both agreeing and disagreeing with. In the Germanic tradition of wanderlust, the author Welf Herfurth takes us through a personal account of his political journey, both metaphorical and actual, as Herfurth turns out to be something of a globe hopper.

This is the kind of anthology that is sure to resonate with any European nationalist, while having enough crossover appeal to be pushed in the direction of any fence-sitting or Left-leaning “normie” friend, with Welf acting the role as a personable guide into politically incorrect territory and taboo viewpoints. The book can be viewed as a Right-wing version of Rules for Radicals, where its strengths lie in its pragmatic and practical approach to political activism. It opens with an introduction and a preface respectively by New Right veterans Troy Southgate and Tomislav Sunic.

UN-MIXING THE MELTING POT: RIGHT-WING DISSIDENCE IN THE US

Author’s note: This article was written for the December issue of the German New Right’s bi-monthly magazine Sezession published by the Institut fĂĽr Staatspolitik (State Policy Institute). The article aims to give the German audience, which for the most part does not even know an American “real” right exists, a basic overview of the AltRight in a first attempt to close ranks. Due to length limitations, some simplifications and omissions could not be avoided.  I apologize in advance for these. Translated by the author.
***********

On October 31st, 2015, while the average American attended Halloween parties that had been arranged weeks in advance, the Arlington/VA based National Policy Institute (NPI) held its annual conference. This time at the prestigious National Press Club in Washington, D.C.—little more than 400 yards away from the White House.

BEING AND BECOMING AT THE NPI CONFERENCE

Richard Spencer

BECOME WHO WE ARE: THE IDENTITY AND SPIRIT OF OUR PEOPLE
OCTOBER 31, 2015, 10 AM — 9 PM
THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB, WASHINGTON, DC

I had the good fortune of being able to attend my first NPI conference, which took place on this last All Soul’s Eve, or Halloween—a fact cheaply exploited by liberal media hacks.

According to NPI’s President and CEO, the charming and mild-mannered Richard B. Spencer, the media reported attendance at upwards of 175, including a rather unprecedented number of Millennials (those under 30). It was refreshing to see so many young faces, who, despite the mass pressure from the politically correct, the education system, and social media, have apparently developed a healthy skepticism of what they have been told, something that favors dissident modes of thought. It is heartening to see this group developing a modicum of self-interest that looks towards a post-capitalist and post-liberal America. In short, they have been "red-pilled," which was one of the themes – or memes – of the conference. Happily, there were also many women in attendance.

JOINING THE DOTS ON ANDREW ANGLIN

Andrew and the Anglins - the new anti-White trolling group.

Back in the wake of the Dylan Storm(er) Roof shootings, Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist Stephanie Saul contacted me because she was doing a hit piece on White Nationalism. Except it wasn’t a hit piece. Because the trouble with good things is that you can’t do hit pieces on them.
"Here are a bunch of White people who don’t want to be disempowered, turned into a minority, and then abused into extinction. How terribly, terribly evil!"
See how that works?

THE GREAT ST. PADDY'S DAY RUMBLE

It started off innocently enough, with a Matt Damon quote used by Richard Spencer to extol the beauty and tragedy of America's former WASP elite in his article Kiss Me I'm WASP Why I Can't Stand St. Patrick's Day.

But, unfortunately, those of Irish descent – and other non-WASPs – in the Radix comment boards kicked off and started breaking the internet furniture over the tricky questions of White identity and whether St. Patrick’s Day was a celebration of the underdog and manifestation of the untermensch.

Disturbingly for Spencer, this little tiff, by showing the fractiousness of Whites over something as basic as identity, calls into question the vision of a grand White nationalism that Radix and NPI favours.

THE USES AND ABUSES OF ARAB NATIONALISM

White Nationalist Lessons
from Brown Nationalist Failure

The easiest way for most people to deal with the Middle East is to mock it, show it contempt, or ignore it. This is understandable because, even at the best of times, the Arabs come across as a rather unpleasant bunch; while untangling just what is going on in the Middle East is about as inviting as unravelling a rats' nest.

PODCAST 23: 2014 YEAR OF THE DINDU

Andy and Colin are joined by Richard Spencer of Radix Journal and NPI and Michael Enoch of the The Right Stuff and the Daily Shoah to look back on 2014, the year of the non-story posing as the real story and the real story posing as the non-story.

While America's SJW-driven media pushed hollow narratives of police brutality against "dindu nuffins" and "rape culture," the Ukraine saw a proxy war breaking out between Russia and America, with both parties claiming they too "dindu nuffin."

ALT-RIGHT PODCAST 19: RAPE CULTURE

Andy and Colin are joined by Matt Forney, the bĂŞte noire of feminists, to discuss the rising tide of intolerance, rape culture, female sexuality, the victim hierarchy, and the increasing divisions among SJWs over issues like the rape allegations made against Bill Cosby.

ALT-RIGHT PODCAST 18: THE ARREST OF RICHARD SPENCER

Andy and Colin are joined by Richard Spencer of the National Policy Institute to talk about his recent attempt to hold a conference in Budapest against the opposition of the Hungarian state. Among the topics discussed are the possible reasons for the clamp down, Richard's arrest and time in detention, how the conference went ahead anyway, and the need for an identitarian vision that can transcend the limitations of divisive petty nationalism.

THE BUST UP IN BUDA

Following the banning of the NPI Confrence in Budapest, Richard Spencer has apparently now been arrested by the Hungarian Police at a private, informal meeting at a city pub (soon to be renamed a bierkeller in Liberal propaganda). As the above video shows, the charge, if there is one, is failing to carry his passport. Such laws exist in many countries – they certainly do in Japan – although they are largely ignored unless the authorities have some arbitrary reason for cracking down on foreigners, which seems to be the case here.

AMREN CONFERENCE, 2014: THE SAGA CONTINUES

Dear Children of the Cathedral, gather around and hear my tale.

Thus begins the camp-fire story of many a post-Enlightenment father, waving a flashlight under his chin while teaching his adopted Haitian children the evils of latent European "racism".  With every spooky vibrato he instills in them the prejudice and conviction of a new religious order:

"Once a year, when the moon is right, evil phantoms descend onto a Tennessee State Park, to utter their wicked incantations and pray to the long-dead gods of their ancestors..."

LOOKING BACK, FORGING FORWARD

The two-faced Roman god Janus

As we reach the end of an old year and anticipate the start of a new one, it is appropriate to reflect on what has come to pass and to look ahead at what’s likely to come.

We find ourselves at a temporary virtual home right now, there being no room at the proverbial inn following the events of the “Christmas Day Purge,” described in an Alternative Right Facebook status update that I authored, which was posted on December 26:
