There is some question about how many people a man with a Kalashnikov automatic rifle can kill in a crowded train compartment. We almost had a chance to find out the exact answer recently, when a 26-year-old Moroccan man attempted to bring a little taste of Middle Eastern anarchy and butchery to a high-speed French train.
By some fluke (cue conspiracy theories), there were a couple of off-duty US servicemen at hand, namely Spencer Stone and Alek Skarlatos:
By some fluke (cue conspiracy theories), there were a couple of off-duty US servicemen at hand, namely Spencer Stone and Alek Skarlatos:
"Spencer got to the guy first and grabbed the guy by the neck," Mr Skarlatos told Sky News. "I grabbed the handgun, got that away from the guy and threw it. Then I grabbed the AK-47, which was at his feet, and started muzzle-bumping him in the head with it. "Everybody just started beating the guy while Spencer held the chokehold until he went unconscious."
From being a tragic story on the scale of the Charlie Hebdo Massacre or worse, this was instantly transformed into a "feel good" story, with the participants in the terrorist's disarming being cheerfully interviewed about the incident, rather in the style of a post-match sports commentary:
Meanwhile, at exactly the same time, several hundred miles away, thousands of people, most of them from Islamic countries, were attempting to storm across the Greek/Macedonian border, against lackluster opposition from the Macedonian border police, in an attempt to travel further north into the open borders Schengen Area, from where they would be able to freely "shop around" and compare the welfare and black economy options of several of Europe's richest states.
This is all part of a human tsunami that is bringing millions of difficult-to-assimilate and liable-to-be-disaffected Muslims into the heart of Europe, which already has more than enough. We can reasonably expect many of them to become radicalized and criminalized. The gender imbalance – overwhelmingly young and male – can also be expected to have a serious impact on rape and sexual assault statistics (literal cucking on a grand scale).
Word has clearly got round across the Middle East and much of Africa that Europe is a soft touch, and that just showing up on the borders and making a bit of drama (standing near a crying baby, pretending to be ill, bumping into a policeman's shield, etc.) will ensure admittance through the next flimsy barrier.

The pleasant story of a couple of off-duty American servicemen overcoming one terrorist while the demographic from which that terrorist came continues to be boosted by millions, allows the West to continue dreaming and pretending that everything will be all right. It won't be.
In view of the fact that Western civilization as a whole is reluctant to face hard facts and make difficult but necessary decisions, it would probably have been better if the gunman had been able to open fire, as this would have underlined yet again the fundamental truth that mass immigration and multiculturalism either end in fast genocide, slow genocide, or tyranny. When wake-up calls are required, the sooner and more often, the better. Too bad they will have to come from the screams of the victims rather than the backslapping of heroes.
