The problem with our present day society is that people have become reactive, hysterical, and blame happy.

Existential problems exist all around us, but few can discuss them, let alone resolve them, because things automatically go to the level of fervid moralising, emotional incontinence, and decontextualised and weaponised factoids and "feeltoids.
Hate is killing us but not in the way that censorious dullards assume.
Take the equation that makes up the title of this article: hypergamy + feminism = genocide.

This is an incontrovertible truth, but there is no way that it could even enter the minds of the vast majority of the population; while a large section of those whose minds it could enter would want to throw in their own particular baggage. For example, many Alt-Righters would nod along, but then tweak "feminism" to read "Jewish feminism," and then start their own hysterical psychological splurging.
Those intelligent enough to recognize some truth in the equation but unwilling to emotionally accept it, would probably find even more surreptitious ways to conflate it or refute it, perhaps by denying one of the components of the equation, such as the existence of hypergamy or perhaps the degree of its influence on female behaviour.
There are all sorts of ways to water down truths you don't like, or to obfuscate them in other ways, and our culture is hard at work doing all of them.
But hypergamy is a fact. Women almost never marry down and always try to marry up. We all know this. Indeed, if it's a choice for a woman to marry down or not marry at all, the vast majority of women will choose to not marry at all.
This is more or less where we are with a great part of the population in the West. And this also explains the historical necessity of all preceding societies to accord men a higher basic status than women. (Yes, please find some magical matriarchy that totally disproves my entire thesis, except even if you did, it wouldn't.)
Historical gender inequality has always been presented by feminists as something entirely unnecessary and therefore proof of male malice, vindictiveness, and our oppressive tendencies. Because we are simply "evil" and therefore "unworthy." That is what feminism is code for: the delegitimization of men for the sake of elevating the "competing" gender to the boss spot.
But the fact that hypergamy is a fact, and a pretty ineradicable biological fact at that, tells you that gender inequality—or male supremacy—is actually essential to the survival of any society. In a society where men and women are considered "equal" and where women only want to marry up—as they invariably do—the prospects for group survival trend to zero.
