WHY I AM NOT A WHITE SEPARATIST

The recent NPI conference is over and the first attacks in the liberal totalitarian media are up and running. They won’t bother attacking too much because it’s a case of diminishing returns with a movement that is still as small as ours, but they are clearly worried about a possible synergy between White Nationalism and the Male Identity Movement (Manosphere), as the focus of the article at Salon makes clear by focusing much of its venom and attention on Jack Donovan:

"But really the conference was open to any number of overlapping topics that might attract disaffected white youngsters. Jack Donovan, an anti-feminist writer and ‘advocate for the resurgence of tribalism and manly virtue,’ served up his shtick.

Donovan has argued that feminists are trying to create ‘gender-neutral utopias’ that will make men into 'doughy bonobos and chunky Chaz Bonos playing out their endless manic-depressive melodramas in a big bean-flicking circle of sterility, sickness and desperation.'"

When your enemy whimpers like that, it helps you know where the pressure points are. Thanks, Lauren!

One point the attacking articles try to get over in their various ways is that the Alternative Right is now increasingly a White Separatist movement. This is wishful thinking on their part. Some of us, in different ways, clearly believe in that, but White Separatism is not and should not become the focus of the Alternative Right.

White Separatism is an option only for those with the resources to drop out of society, buy land, and relocate. Although several patterns of White Separatism are possible – some individual, some community based – it is essentially an option of the upper middle class, one of the groups best able to insulate itself from the horrors of the fully-fledged multicultural society.

The highest form of White Separatism would be the creation of flourishing White communities in a specific region, in readiness for some supposed cataclysmic break down in society Whether or not this is on the cards it definitely represents an object of wishful thinking on the part of many White nationalists.

But would such a scenario of beautifully-kempt, little Neuropean villages, interlinked by a well-signposted network of forest paths somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, even be feasible when the central government has so many ways to influence economic outcomes? Serious doubts must exist.

Even if it were possible, such communities would essentially be in the same situation as Orania in South Africa, beautiful but delicate flowers that could be snuffed out at any moment by the paramilitary arm of the totalitarian liberal state.

When the goal is to exist against the grain, then it makes sense to consider earlier actual examples. The two that spring to mind are the Jews and Gypsies, whose societies were structured in recognition of the fact that the central power might at any moment pounce on their substance and people.

This is why the Jews specialized in secreting their wealth and adopting various crypto strategies and why the Gypsy lifestyle emphasized mobility.

Legal and political systems were, at least historically, leaden-footed so that small, nimble groups could, through a range of strategies, keep one step ahead. By contrast the European’s love of a homestead, land, garden, and farm, and his preference for living in the clear light of day, make him an easy target for the power of the state. In short, White Separatism would only work for Gypsies and Jews.

So, what is to be done? To paraphrase the biggest mass murderer of the 20th century, the White nationalist must continue to move amongst the people as a fish swims in the sea. If the state wants to attack us, we must make it so that they are also forced to attack the people we live amongst.

Separating out from a society would stop us influencing countless people in many ways, some big, some small. White Separatism is in fact an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms, because it means leaving most White people behind, and instead siphoning off their growing consciousness into self-isolating, self abnegating groups. It is yet another example of the kind of romantic, self-satisfying urge towards “splendid isolation” and being beautiful losers that has plagued the Right for so long. White nationalism makes Euro-Nationalists (my preferred term) think they should be pristine snowy white. No, White nationalists should only be white once the grime of battle has been washed off.

To return to Mao’s fish analogy, White separatism would be the equivalent of the fish wrapping themselves up in the fisherman’s net and jumping into the fisherman’s boat, after gutting themselves! What could be nicer for the Liberal Totalitarian state than its enemies isolating themselves from society in a place where snuffing them out wouldn’t raise any ripples?

The paradox that should stifle all attempts at White Separatism at birth is the following: White Separatism can only have real meaning if the society itself collapses, but the very moment when society collapses is the very moment at which White nationalists have the most to gain by engaging in the wider struggle.
