CONSPIRACY THEORY: USES, ABUSES, AND DANGERS

by Charles Aubrey

Conspiracy, and conspiracy theory, is present at the birth and during the moribund decline of all civilizations throughout history. In the future, the presently dying United States of America will not be found exempt from this cyclical feature. The more this present state decays, the more the wireframe of America is exposed to the masses, and, in turn, the masses seek the destruction of that which they believe has wronged them.

Destruction’s antecedent is truth, for truth is among the greatest destructive forces on the planet. Although conspiracy theory is not truth itself, much truth it does contain. Though conspiracy theory can awaken our fellow Americans to the present madness, dwellers of the future ethnostate need be aware of conspiracy theory’s malignant effect on nationalism, which will exacerbate the entropy of the state.

I personally am indebted to conspiracy theory’s provocation of my consciousness. Conspiracy theory exposed me to the true state of reality. And slowly over time, this politically impartial awakening led a collegiate liberal to face the pitiless nature of the world, reassess his philosophical understanding of said world, and, ultimately, embrace a white nationalist/traditionalist position with a conviction unlike any other in his life.

*************

Conspiracy theory fundamentally changed me. Not all who know me would affirm that my transformation from a doctrinaire liberal into a reactionary, contrarian dissident was for the best, as I have paid a great toll for my convictions; however, I would never return to that prior state of innocence. I imagine many on our side arrived at such a position by way of some extraordinary breach of truth into our intellectual lives. Some brutal truths may seem more mundane, such as the realities of black on white crime or the failures of multiculturalism, but I personally arrived by way of 9/11 truth, the understanding of the global monetary elite, and the supremacist nature of Zionism.

Of course, the Internet has played the largest role in this new era of information accessibility, which, in turn, has allowed for the mass dissemination of conspiracy theory beginning in the late 80’s with BBS and the early 90’s with the onset of a more graphical, user-friendly internet. Having lived through the period, I would certainly say the 00’s exists as the true golden era of modern conspiracy theory. With the onset of the teens of this century, conspiracy theory uniquely moved into what could be called the “post-conspiracy theory” era. Where the information before stripped apart the nature of the financial system, its players, and their overall strategy of divide and conquer, now conspiracy theorists detect a conspiracy at every turn winding their listeners farther and farther down the rabbit hole, to echo the now cliched metaphor.

In this post-conspiracy theory world, prudence and temperance have been abandoned. I am certainly not saying that the Sandy Hook massacre or the Boston Marathon bombing could not have been due in some measure to the machinations of some power elite; however, I am saying that the conspiracy theorist of all types (from the Amateur, and often ultra-paranoid, YouTubers to the famous radio personalities) now waste no time in their deconstruction and reinterpretation so that they can say that were the first ones on the scene.

Conspiracy culture has gone from the believable and plausible to the outright bizarre. We’ve seen 9/11 truth evolve from a believable and plausible “inside job” theory to the bizarre holographic plane theory. Convincing information on MK Ultra, mind control programs, and military super-soldiers has evolved to alien-human-dolphin-clone-hybrids or whatever the latest crossbreed trend happens to be. The current, and most absorbing trend in conspiracy-thinking concerns the use of coordinated actors and staged situations (i.e. shootings, bombings, etc.) that the media covers as actual events to push the various agendas of the power elite.  Though outlandish notions have always existed, the outlandish seems to be the mainstream conspiracy theory position, at present.

*************

I mention this brief evolutionary survey of conspiracy theory to expose the state of decay that faces the nation. As the nation dies, even that cultural apparatus which supposedly “watches the watchmen” is subject to the same delusions of dementia as the decrepit state.  Though the efficacy of conspiratorial thinking may be diminished by its ever increasing direction towards the ridiculous and fantastical, it is nevertheless the case that conspiracy theory is uniquely responsible for the overwhelming dissatisfaction of the government by the people and their respective reactions toward this monstrosity in the years since.

The first effect of conspiracy theory is to prompt disillusionment with the state, which leads to the fracturing of the state as time progresses, and, finally, the death of the state. This relationship can be explained that conspiracy theory, over time, depletes the nation-state of nationalism which is the life-force or spirit of any state. I would argue that one certain diagnosis for determining the health of any nation lies in the nationalistic fervor of its people, or lack thereof.

No longer can the state rely on ignorant citizens crying for the death of our “enemies” nor the sincere chants of “Dulce et decorum est” by expendable armies of faceless soldiers.  As of 2013, the immediate and short lived post-9/11 patriotic indignation the country experienced now feels more like the last spark of fight in an old war veteran as he shakes his fist at the invisible enemies that surround him.

Will the hypothetical future white ethnostate embrace the nefarious, clandestine modus operandi of the current, corrupt multicultural one? Will we obfuscate the truth with untruth as they do? Or, rather, will we conclude that true transparency should exist between the government and the people? I believe these questions will ultimately lie with our future leaders and their sincerity of cause.

I want to believe that strong, honorable men will lead us down the path to find some approachable harmony between the state and the people. But I must admit that I am equally afraid that dishonorable men may co-opt our movement and begin a new cycle of opportunistic, ignoble, unprincipled men subjugating and bastardizing a people and a system that initially and earnestly sought something more.
