Robert Stark and Francis Nally (aka "Pilleater") talk to Jason Reza Jorjani about his new Science Fiction novel Faustian Futurist. Jorjani is an Iranian-American philosopher, native New Yorker, and author of several books, including Prometheism and Prometheus and Atlas.
His new novel is a convenient entry point to the philosophical and political concepts of his non-fiction work. Topics include the Faustian archetype, the novel’s alternative history timeline, its theme of reincarnation, the significance of Atlantis in the novel, and the empirical archaeological evidence for the existence of that fabled city. Also discussed are parapsychologist Gerald Feinberg’s ideas, such as Remote Viewing, and Jorjani's Prometheist vision of a post-capitalist/scarcity society.
