Now factors like sheer pleasure and peer bonding are increasingly emphasised as the purpose and justification for the gratuitous exchange of bodily fluids. Also, is abortion mainly birth control for certain classes of people? And are campus “rape culture” and the “date rape” phenomena the inevitable consequence of divorcing sex from its reproductive function?
