Hmmm, I guess that meme about the Left never punching Left may have to be reexamined.
It seems that the Democrat establishment has just realized what a massive pit of shit was being dug for it by the ongoing Antifa-ing of America.
After a weekend where Antifa and normal Berkeley students roamed around beating up random Normies and a few Trumpies, and also chanted about abolishing the United States, minority leader Nancy Pelosi has moved to put a little clear water between her party and the blatant thugs of the so-called Alt-Left.
An official statement released by the elderly lady politician read as follows:
This might have something to do with Michael Moore’s recent prediction that Trump is on course to win in 2020, or it could be influenced by the massive drop in MTV’s VMA viewing stats, indicating that young Whites are feeling increasingly alienated by toxic PC bullshit.
One thing is clear, however, being associated with Commies and anarchists dressed up to resemble ISIS is not a way to win back the swing states or the millions of Obama voters who stopped voting for the Dems. So, Pelosi’s statement makes crude political sense.
The only question is can she sell it, especially when her party is up to its neck with the anti-White hate group #BlackLivesMatter, which appears to have been instrumental in provoking and encouraging actual cop killings?
Nevertheless, Pelosi’s move is an interesting one, as it now means that the most prominent elected supporters of Antifa are now those people in the GOP who sided with Antifa over Charlottesville, including Mitt Romney, who unforgettably attacked President Trump’s reasonably fair appraisal of the Charlottesville situation in the following words:
The Antifa and the cuck wing of the GOP! — now that’s an alliance that tells you we are entering an unprecedented period in American political history. Practically anything could happen and it probably will.
