I love the Dissident Right, but I have to say that in the last few years it has become overloaded with what is now called "cringe." I really liked it a lot better in its early days, when ideas and insights outweighed the rather creepy "social dynamics" and 'fake virtue" that later took over.
What do I mean by cringe? Well, it comes in many forms. For example the Groyper movement is obviously cringe, even though they were the ones who rediscovered the word "cringe."
Sure they have done a good job attacking the even cringier TPUSA movement and there may even be a good argument for "tactical cringe"—i.e. using Christianity to attack "fellow Christians" and Zionists. But the Groypers are ultimately a bunch of cowards hiding behind fake Christianity and irony. Sure they do it brilliantly, especially Nick Fuentes, but ultimately that's what they are.
I call Christianity fake because I refuse to believe anyone who is intelligent really believes in any of these dumb Abrahamic religions. At best so-called "Christians" are attempting to believe in their religion, and half their brain knows that they are desperately stretching.
But it's not just the Groypers. I've been watching some of the Millenniyules to see what sort of state the debris left by the Alt-Right is in. Maybe it's just Woesy's cosy persona but there is something unbearably twee and conformist about most of these chats.
The Alt-Right, while hating on Jews and blaming them for everything (inverted Jewish Supremacism), has also managed to evolve a tone redolent of a Sunday school and a simp session. I mean the cringe phrase of the decade has to go to Alt-Right YouTuber No White Guilt and his catchphrase "White wellbeing"—that just sounds like Whites getting comfortable on their deathbed.
With the Millenniyules we are presented with what appear to be a bunch of incels, gays, loners, and race-mixers who obviously spend too much time on the internet prattling on about "Muh White race," "the moral fabric of society" (LOL), the importance of women as "good marriage material," and how the Evil Pronouns ("They" and "Them") are working tirelessly to "undermine the family"—just because...
Cue the smell of righteous nappies!
They also think Christianity—or even Islam—is a good thing because it might just stop the tiny micro-percentage of dyed-under-arm-hair Twitter feminists who live rent-free in their heads and are apparently the main threat to Western civilisation.
Yup, this is pretty cringe and totally ghey!
But there is still plenty of other cringe in the Dissident Right.
Also don't get me started on Tommy Robinson and the Counter-Jihad movement, something that needs no critique because everyone and his dog recognises them as cringe on sight. The Counter-Jihad has always been cringe. But someone like Tommy is interesting in another way.
We all know that he is about hating on the Muslims. Whatever you think of it, that's his thing, and quite probably he has his reasons, so fine. Who cares?
But where does all that exaggerated Jew love come from? This is what most people think of when you put the word "cringe" next to Tommy Robinson.
I mean it really is getting excessive. But it has its uses, as we see exactly the same pattern with Trump and now Boris Johnson's Conservatives on a much bigger scale.
All three of these colorful characters couple policies that the hegemonic Left hates intensely with what appears to be an extraneous and totally unnecessary love of Jews. This sort of thing can easily be misinterpreted, but my reading is that the Jew-philia is brought in as moral cover for the "bad thing," whether it is "build the wall," "Brexit," or "Please, Muslim gangs, stop raping our girls." In that sense it is at least tactical and therefore useful. Boris, as we saw, was able to throw the Left's constant smears of "racism" back in their teeth and win a "stonking" majority.
Groypers and the Alt-Right, by contrast, end up shackling the things they want to something that ultimately drags them down.
So, what do they want. It's definitely not going to Church every Sunday (at best once or twice a year to post a LARPy image on social media).
What most people in the Dissident Right basically want is the same thing: namely to be part of a stable and healthy demographic group, with above replacement rate fertility, which is not being constantly bombarded by waves of incomers who change its racial and cultural character. That's it, really, in a very small nutshell. We want our graves to be tended by those who look like us, rather than pissed on by contemptuous aliens.
Then, while they live, most people in the Dissident Right also want to be part of a society that is not too different from the one they currently inhabit, except they want it to be healthier, more balanced, and saner. Apart from the LARPers, they definitely don't want to live in some simulacra of Sparta, Medieval Europe, or the Third Reich.
But, in order to get the rather modest thing that they want, they end up taking in a whole lot of superfluous junk they don't really want. Rather than making the short trip to their destination, they send themselves on a long detour, and end up adopting a lot of extraneous ideas, postures, and attitudes that ensure they never arrive. From what I've seen, these include things like trad-catholicism, Evolan traditionalism, NazBol bollocks, the Petersonian room-cleaning fetish, tradwife simping, and the pseudo-religious, warm, fuzzy faith in an abstract concept of "family," only possible to those who don't have actual families (which also explains why they are on the internet so much).
Once again cue the smell of righteous nappies!
The Dissident Right remains small and unpopular because it makes the vast number of people who instinctively want to save the White race feel like they have to sign up to a lot of its twee, cringey, simpy associated ideas, attitudes, and affirmations. Then there are the personnel—mainly mid-brain, toneless purity spirallers, and pompous positivists.
As you realise this, slowly the part of you that wants to save the White race and Western civilisation starts to wither and die in a kind of negative Pavlovian reaction.
So, what is the solution to this dynamic?
It may sound simple but I favour the idea of decoupling what one wants from what one doesn't want, or at least the essential from the inessential, which can then be made optional in the same way that certain condiments are.
Why should I go through the motions of pretending to believe in some patently absurd religion because someone memed that this is the only way to get people to create a demographically healthy society? Why not just cut directly to a healthy secular morality that is based on common sense and the innate will to exist, or—better still—the minimum of moral intervention needed to reach the goals of a healthy social organism, namely a fertility rate of >2.1?
What is needed is not some pseudo-religious long-cut, which then sows seeds in your people's psyche that are future timebombs—as we see with cuckish Judeo-Christian values—but instead a direct form of "scientific anti-degeneracy."
Really, as long as society in general is making its healthy birth quota of >2.1 children per women, weighted towards higher IQ women obviously, is it really a problem if there are whorehouses on every corner and sluts in the public bars?
The Islamic Republic of Iran is a good example of the opposite. Under the decadent old Shah of Iran when girls in mini-skirts walked through the streets of Tehran, the fertility rate was over six kids per woman. But then came the puritanical Islamic Revolution. Mini-skirts were binned and "public morals" corrected by actual cane-weilding THOT patrols. So what happened to the fertility rate?

The key to saving the West is not to tie its people to discarded "virtues" and long-winded "moral structures" that they will ultimately find onerous and unworkable. Nor is it to load their backs with exploded myths that will poison their thoughts.
The great de-faithing of the West is a done deed and irreversible. The toothpaste can't be put back into the God tube. The materialism and hedonism of the West is here to stay. Leftism wins because it accepts that reality and threads its poison and lies through it. If the right is to defeat it, it must fight it on the same open plains of lived reality and stop its "Deep LARPing."
We must reject holy lies and charlatan schemes that lead us astray. What we need is to teach our people new truths about their survival that don't make unnecessary and unwelcome demands on them. We have to focus on the essentials: the need for a strong group identity and a precise definition of degeneracy as average fertility of less than 2.1—and virtue as average fertility of more than 2.1. Beyond that we should assure then, that duty done, they are free.
