However, as YouTuber Ataman (subscribe) points out, the policy of "decossackization" and the genocidal persecution of the Cossack ethnic group by the Communists reveals the hollowness of all Leftist historical theory. From a population of 1.2 million in 1912, Cossacks have declined to a population of only 140,000 today.
