WHAT'S IN A TWERK? THE SEMANTICS OF BOOTY SHAKING

I recently saw a video of a "class" of young, healthy, White women learning to twerk to a track of music by a romantically-White-presenting African singer is doing the rounds on Twitter.

Alt-Liter Paul Joseph Watson's terse comment was "modernity," implying that a certain location on the chronological continuum was to blame; while self-described "e-clown" Peter Cozy highlighted the trans-racial aspect with "Typical class in an African-American studies degree."

What struck me as I watched and rewatched the video several times to formulate my own views is the very obvious inversion of the male-active/ female-passive dichotomy. I expressed this in my own tweet on the video as follows:

The transformation of the female booty from a passive organ of procreation into an active organ of degeneracy continues.

Traditionally the female booty was, to use the rather direct language of my Anglo-Saxon ancestors, there to be "fucked," i.e. to be the passive recipient of male seed in order to create the next generation, while providing a fleeting modicum of male and occasionally female pleasure. Vital to this important function was that it should remain relatively, although not totally, static throughout the period of sexual congress.

But what we see with the advent of booty shaking, which has been spearheaded by the African contingent in our globalised Western culture, is the inversion of the passive but procreative function of a female organ to what is essentially a masculine sexual one, to say nothing of the emphasis it puts on the anus as the sexual—or should that be anti-sexual—entry point. Roosh V also has much to say of interest on this point.

In past years, just as the man was supposed to wield his penis in imitation of his sword or rifle to establish masculine dominance, so now the female is encouraged to wield her much larger sexual organ in a similarly domineering and dick-like way to overwhelm the male and reduce him to a more submissive role, while also intimidating him with the necessarily superior size of her operative sexual organ.

Twerking is thus revealed as a device for masculinising women and belittling men, creating the kind of feminist supremacist conditions in which female hypergamy can rule the roost unshackled and drive male evolution down the absurd and ultimately destructive routes that hypergamy invariably chooses.
