Vlogger Styxhexenhammer666 comments on Big Tech's mistaken view that extremism can only be prevented by more censorship. He points out that Big Tech and the US government are actually promoting extremism by their policies, which are effectively splitting the internet into an increasing number of "echo chambers": Twitter - Biden fans, Liberals// Gab - traditionalists // Parler - Populists, Trump supporters // etc. There serve as proto-extremist forums that increasingly push their users into dehumanising and potentially violent viewpoints of others. The best solution to this process of radicalisation through group dynamics is free speech absolutism and a true marketplace of ideas.
