Affirmative Right editor Colin Liddell comments on the recent UK by-election in the usually safe Labour seat of Batley and Spen (formerly held by assassinated MP Jo Cox).

The vote, which also included George Galloway's Muslim-friendly Workers' Party, revealed the growing complexity and chaos of British politics. Post-Brexit the main fault lines appear to be between inefficient managerial elites (Boris Johnson/ Keir Starmer), "woke" Metropolitan Leftists, and socially conservative but economically leftist ethnic voters. Will ordinary British voters realise that they too have their own separate interests and find a way to express them?
