WHO'S WHO IN THE DISSIDENT RIGHT: EDWARD DUTTON

Dutton on a Nazi podcast

____________

Born in 1980, Dutton is a serious academic who has a firm grasp of anthropology, genetics, and evolution, his thoughts on which he presents through his "eccentric Englishman" persona on his highly enjoyable and informative YouTube and Odysee channels.

He lives in Finland with a Finnish wife and kids.

Ideologically Dutton can best be described as an "environmental determinist" or even "environmental fundamentalist," viewing mankind and its various societies as the essentially passive product of whatever climatic, social, and economic conditions predominate.

This gives his views a distinctly blackpilled hue, although he manages to offset this with his cheerful presentation. He also claims to be a Christian, although this seems more a matter of aesthetics and emotion than theology and cosmology.

Since around 2018 or 2019, he has been closely associated with Richard Spencer, appearing on countless podcasts with this extremely discredited character. Spencer's Washington Summit Publishing label also published Dutton's excellent book "Making Sense of Race."

Like many of the more overtly sensible people in the Dissident Right, Dutton seems to have something of a blind spot about whom he associates himself with. Not only does he seem oblivious of Spencer's past excesses, but he has also allowed himself to be associated with obvious shill Nazitard elements like Patriotic Alternative and Frodi Midjord's Scandza Forum.

This could be due to a long-suspected element of mild autism in Dutton's personality, which in itself is possibly the result of generations of brutal evolution in the harsh and unforgiving English shires and/or generations of consanguineous intermarriage, which he is now trying to overcome by his exogamous marital arrangements.

  1. I doubt Dutton is a Christian. Possibly, he may have said on a podcast that he is a Christian, but most of Dutton's statements about God and religion indicate he is an agnostic (and perhaps he is privately contemptuous of religion). However, Dutton has defended Christianity on many occasions, so the descriptor 'Cultural Christian' could be used to describe him.

Regarding Dutton and Spencer's collaboration, this is a very strange alliance as the two men have very different views. Spencer has a childish fantasy of an autocratic, racial, Roman Empire covering the West, while Dutton's views are typically Anglo-Saxon (empiricism, freedom of speech, 'Advance, Britannia!' etc). I have noticed Dutton rarely mentions Spencer on his show, so there must be some concealed disapproval.

I imagine it is quite complicated as his degree is in Theology. I don't like the term Cultural Christian as it makes a distinction to something which has always been apart of the Anglican community.

  2. Your misunderstanding of figures within the "dissident right" makes me think you are either too lazy to actually give their conversations any thought, or you are actively trying to suppress elements of right-wing thinking that are actually worth holding on to. Or you are just a fed.

    1. A typical weasel comment. You haven't cited one instance where I am wrong and can be shown to be wrong. Are you, LOL, attempting to suggest that Spencer is NOT a deeply discredited figure? Looks like you are the lazy one. Also, who is more likely to be a Fed, someone who links nationalism and the Dissident Right to Naziism or someone who opposes that?

    2. I always find it fascinating that these Nazi wannabes in Spencer’s circle never call him out for his latently homosexual tendencies.

  3. Why are so many on these platforms seemingly blind to the obvious nazi stain that Mark brings with him everywhere? He doesn't even try to pretend that he's had some baptism to wash off his "nazi boy" reputation of the past, having chummed it up with David Duke of all people to get his growth on youtube and then making Hitler references with his shaven head on camera (this alone makes him and his proto-party unelectable in the UK and anyone who associates too closely with him, just wait for the media to get their teeth into it) to keep the political poison topped up. Yet people who try to come across as serious academics or politcal and cultural activists claiming to do their best to distance themselves from the neonazi larp and other mistakes of the past just give him a free pass? What's going on? Does Mark have some power of mesmerism, are they idiots who can't do five minutes of research on him or are they just feds and frauds?

I'm leaning towards frauds and feds for many of them at this point, sadly. They can't all be subnormal IQ and unable to do a Google search and too many come across as otherwise reasonably capable.

  4. I like Edward Dutton but as with a lot of these people he loses himself whenever he goes outside the topic of race and genetics, his area of expertise. This is most obvious whenever he brings up the topic of autism which he clearly knows nothing about. If you listened only to him you would think that they’re some kind of ultra intelligent race of geniuses that can only think logically, like Mr. Spock. A simple online search for Chris Chan would immediately disprove that notion.
